Printer is printing labels of lines and blanks

All of a sudden my Dymo 450 Twin Turbo has started feeding through blank labels after I have printed one label, causing me to throw out many labels. Today, the right side, which has smaller labels, just started printing of these lined labels and would not stop. I had to open the cover and rip the labels so they would stop. Your printers use to be my favorite peripheral device, but what is happening now is very frustrating. I would have rated this printer a 5 in the past, but now it seems to have a brain of its own. Labels are too expensive for this to be happening constantly. If you can tell me how to correct this problem, I'll go back to highly recommending it, but can't now.

Really bad software

Product works well when it works. Software is terrible. Often the machine loses connection with the PC. You have discreet the USB cable, power off and reboot it. Almost unusable. Release packaged as 8.7.3 in fact is not. It is 8.7.0. It is not 32 bit.

Works pretty well with my Mac

The Dymo label writer has saved me lots of time addressing packages and standing in line at the post office. The labels look professional and even have my company logo on them. The only cons are that you can't turn it off without unplugging it, and that the machine gobbles up labels once in awhile.

Connect

The recent upgrade to the Connect software has ruined hundreds of layouts that I have been using for years. Now this Connect is just not user friendly and does not even work with its own layouts. Check out the jewelry label. The text box is in the center of the label where it makes absolutely no sense. Please provide a way to get the older software.

Lousey application software

The LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo printer works great when used with a decent software package. The current DYMO Connect application sucks by not opening with Win 11. It appears to boot but upon the application opening the user interface immediately terminates. My older DYMO label application software worked just great with my current Win 11 OS and then all the address lists disappeared with no trace. This occurred once before. I have been put out of business by a lousy DYMO printer application. Why can't DYMO make the older software available for those who have learned to use same. Roll your dice if you download DYMO Connect.

printing 2 labels problem

I bought Demo LW 450 Twin Turbo but the software is terrible, I thought I can print 2 different size labels with the same address in one easy step, but I have to print one label & than second label separately. It should be 2 labels on 1 screen & click print. 2 labels with same address but on different size labels at once. Maybe I'm wrong but with this new software it is impossible.

DYMO Connect is terrible, use DYMO Label.

DYMO Connect makes simple tasks difficult and is a serious downgrade to the previous software. One major, but not the only, frustration is the device address book is no longer accessible and requires connecting to either Google or Microsoft contacts. I dread using the "new" DYMO Connect software. The previous DYMO Label software is accessible via this product page, however after a while the latest version of macOS reports the software is no longer useable and suggests it be removed. A quick removal and re-installation of the software seems to "fix" it until the next time.

Excellent printer, worse software over time

I've been using labelwriter printers for just shy of 20 years now. I have owned multiple 450 twin turbos. I agree wholeheartedly that the latest dymo software is absolute garbage compared to what they had 15+ years ago. Bring back the old software.

Versetile but Unriliable printer

I have had this twin label writer since early this year it has given me nothing but problems with the soft ware, customer support was very helpful helping me to install updated programme , which at 1st wen very well but when Leaving it dormant for a week or so just started to give me the same Headaches, labels wouldn't print out directly getting stuck within the printer for ever having to put it right, I have the option of uninstalling the programme, then re-installing it again but just don.t want to keep doing this, others might have better luck but this is a disappointment for me, I know customer service will support me but I just don't want to be doing this every time I have a problem. when it is running right its excellent product with so much versatility.

Good and Bad - Mostly bad

I have used DYMO for years. My complaint is that you are constantly fooling around with the software to make it work. One day it works and the next it doesn't. This time I can't get it to work no matter what I do. Unfortunately I will have to now change our 10 office units. It's costing me too much in staff time to trey to get this working again.
