Works Wonderful on MAC

As part of my job I test and use many different models and brands and for my personal use with our MAC computers we use the DYMO label printers. We have units that print labels, plastic labels and postage and find this product as one of the all time great time savers and a great value.

Good and Bad - Mostly bad

I have used DYMO for years. My complaint is that you are constantly fooling around with the software to make it work. One day it works and the next it doesn't. This time I can't get it to work no matter what I do. Unfortunately I will have to now change our 10 office units. It's costing me too much in staff time to trey to get this working again.

One day it just decided to die

I print labels every day and I usually don't have a problem. I've had issues with this product don't get me wrong but I can usually fix the issue. NOT TODAY. I've tried everything and I cannot get this darn thing to print a simple label!!! I guess it's time for a new one, from a different brand.

Printer sending blanks and weird line prints

Products worked well. Experienced a jam in one of the slots. Cleared jam. But have been unable to print labels the same since. Also suddenly prints out labels with random lines and patterns. Found the other review in which dymo has said that the machine has been put into test mode. Followed the instructions found under the other review, however. The printer continues to spit out blank or lined labels. How to fix this?!?

RFID Chip in label rolls

I have purchased and used over 100 Dymo LabelWriters in my multistate retail stores and warehouses, and loved them. Now with the RFID chip on the Dymo rolls, making it impossible to purchase less expensive labels, I am phasing out the Dymo LabelWriter in all locations. It makes me sad, Dymo has been my go to printer for over 10 years

Just The Greatest!

This labelwriter is a gem. I use the 400 at work and have used the twin turbo at home for about 5 years. I use it for postage more than addresses, but love being able to print address labels also. I Love being able to print postage with no fee. I have never had a jamming or feeding problem with this machine. I am in the process of adding the 10 lb. Pelouze scale.

Don't buy, if you already did, return ASAP

Basically everyone on here is saying the same. Software sucks. I have to connect the printer AFTER installing the software. Sounds easy enough. Except that doesn't work. And if I connected it first, then what should I do? No instructions. Perhaps you are doomed forever and have to return the printer and buy one from another company. I tried uninstalling the software and drivers and restarting my computer (keep in mind I did follow the instruction to install the software first in the first pace!). Still, does not seem to detect my printer. Perhaps they think this will make people upgrade to their latest printer? Well I don't think they understand how it feel to have such a crappy product experience.

Couldn't live without it at school/home

I am a teacher and label everything in my classroom. Also, all reports and letters that go out of my classroom are labeled in a professional manner. It just makes everything I do and have in my room look professional. Students know where everything goes because they just follow the labels. Also, at the beginning of the year I put all student numbers and passwords on a label and have them put it in their agenda so they always know where it is. I have the Label/Writer Twin Turbo at school and got a new one at home for Christmas. I couldn't live without them. Everything in my cabinets at home are labeled and organized.

So easy to look great!

I love this little label printer. In fact I'm surprised it was as easy as it was to install and start printing. Very simple to understand and use. I bought yellow labels by accident but actually like how they stand out on our packages! We've only had the printer for about a month but we're extremely pleased with it!

Upgraded software = upgraded issues

I have been using this printer and its software for years. With each iteration a new problem appears. I am used to the disappearing printer and having to reboot my computer or plug/unplug the Dymolabel. Now, however, with the most recent Mac upgrade I lost all of my prior templates, and none of the new ones seem to allow printing mailing barcodes. I can't stand the changes and wish I could downgrade to a previous release.
