Missing a major function

We purchased this labelwriter to print both postage and UPC labels. For our business we need to use 1" x 1" labels for UPC A, which the software will not support. It will not allow you to shrink the UPC to fit within the 1" area. What a waste to think how much money your company may be losing to companies who have to send out to a third party to print the exact same thing they could be printing in house.

Excellent but ....

Bought this printer to replace an earlier DYMO 4XL (Needed two labels all the time). Easy to set up; easy to use but the software is still very flaky. It 'loses' the USB port several times a day and I have to unplug everything, give it a minute and then replug - then it springs back into action. Tried USB 2 and USB 3 still the same. Support is quick to respond - but the software needs fixing.

Good printer. Horrible software

I've used DYMO Label Software for years. Then, I made the mistake of cutting over to the new Connect Software. Yes - a BIG mistake. Where the heck did all my labels go?! Over a 100 labels, and this software doesn't even have the decency to import from the old package!!! The old stuff was intuitive and easy to use. This new stuff is so bad that I have no choice but to scrape it off the bottom of my shoe and go back to the old software. The printer itself is great, but the software kills it. It may be time to go with a different brand of label maker. DYMO should be ashamed of this crap.

Software was great now it's garbage. I use Mac and use to print 1" stickers for a product I sell and could print almost 40 a minute, now, it always prints the last previous sticker 1 time, has a blank line across the stickers and prints 1 sticker every 20 seconds (if I hit print for 40 stickers it's 20 seconds between each, use to spit them out like a machine gun) Dymo needs to scrap the new software and make the old one work again.

Great personal and business investment

I've had my 450 Twin Turbo for almost two years now, and it's one of the best things I ever bought for my home office. The option for two label feeds is a must, so that one feed is always reserved for stamps, and the other feed is for all of the various types of labels I use. The printer is fast, quiet, small, looks good, and best of all doesn't need any toner refills. The software for labels and stamps is quite comprehensive, yet very easy to use. I recommend this label printer for anyone who wants to keep their life organized and efficient. It's handy to have such a customizable label printer, and I haven't had to stand in line at the post office in two years. The variety of labels that the 450 Twin Turbo can handle and that Dymo offers is impressive - you'll find no shortage of things to label after you get this printer.

Printer sending blanks and weird line prints

Products worked well. Experienced a jam in one of the slots. Cleared jam. But have been unable to print labels the same since. Also suddenly prints out labels with random lines and patterns. Found the other review in which dymo has said that the machine has been put into test mode. Followed the instructions found under the other review, however. The printer continues to spit out blank or lined labels. How to fix this?!?

Good and Bad

Works well enough... but not overly impressed. Does not print both sides simultaneously which would have been helpful to me. We use it to print barcode labels, and shipping labels. It skips labels a lot, or has blank spots on some labels. Sometimes prints extremely slow at times and extremely fast at others. Very unpredictable. But works well enough...

Amazing Product Can't Live Without

I had previously used one of the single roll printers before and after getting this one I don't know how I lived without it. It makes printing address labels and postage so easy, and efficient that it has paid for itself in saved time in literally a few months.

problems with windows 10

Label printing is good, but when installing the software, windows 10 only recognizes 1 printer, not 2 as indicated in the documentation. Since I do not use Dymo connect to print labels, I have to go thru printer preferences, adding multiple steps for something that should be as simple as changing printers.

Great printer

I use my Dymo printer all day long. We are constantly sending out letters and mailers. It is quick, convenient and I use it to label everything, not just mail. My only "complaint" if it can even be called that is that it is not cost effective for large mailers of 100+ people. It is cheaper just to print my own labels on the sheets but for individual labels, this printer just cannot be beat.
