I love this safe because it fits perfectly in my closet. When it arrived, I like the way the box was designed, because I was able to get it out and set it up by myself without needing any help. It was reassuring to know that the product has been tested and is fire proof and water proof.

This safe seems solid and is a great size for me. I am hopeful that the digital keypad lock and plastic parts are sturdy enough and will provide long use. A 1 year warranty on something this important is worrisome, but I am hoping it will do the job.

Nice, heavy unit with great finish. The directions were easy to follow, with the on-line video or the instruction manual - so initial setup was fast. I like that there is a factory default code, and keyboard lockout keys, plus when you register the safe, all your information is backed up. Just in case you forget your combination. It includes bolt down hardware, although I can't imagine anyone getting this thing out of the house very easily. Well over 100 slippery pounds.The interior is all available for storage. There is a shelf and a file drawer, both of which can be configured at many different levels. The inside of the door offers some nice storage compartments, and the timed interior LED lighting is a great touch. I like the water and fire ratings, which is the main reason I bought it. Like I mentioned in the first sentence, this is a very nicely finished safe - inside and out. Unpacking to done in less than a half hour.

Decided on the 205 series because of its size and fire rating. The Sentry water proof feature is not applicable if you need to anchor the safe to the floor. The minute you drill the holes for the anchor bolts it is no longer water tight. Definitely a no brainer, but this fact is not clear until the buyer actually reads the manual and instructions for anchoring.

I Absolutely Love this Safe for Many Reasons. The Obvious Three being the fact that it is Fire, Water & Burglar, Proof. Beside those three, two of the Main Reasons I bought this style Safe is that it has a file drawer, like in a file cabinet, so I can keep my files Safe (in case of a fire) and Orderly at the same time, and a shelf to lay important papers on. The last two reasons is because it has a Digital and Key Lock which makes it easier to remember the combination and it has a light on the inside of the door.

The size of this safe along with the water and fire resistant features make this the perfect safe for our home. For years we have paid high annual rental fees for a safety deposit box at our bank that only has 1/3 of the space available in this safe. This safe will pay for itself in less than 5 years after canceling our safe deposit box. Its strong and sturdy appearance along with a digital combination that allows us to set our own entry code makes this right choice for our family.

I have attempted to find an all-in-one safe for my restaurant for several months. The SFW205GPC safe is the first one to meet our criteria. It is wide enough to hold two cash register drawers. The door opens out of the way so the cash drawers can slide easily into the safe. The safe also includes a letter-sized file folder holder for sensitive documents. The tray holds coin rolls and other miscellaneous items. The door holds keys, paychecks, TV remote controls, etc.

Solid, secure safe in home ... providing additional peace of mind with or without home security system. Convenient to place larger items in/out (vs. small safes). Many folks install this at floor level because of its weight. You may find it more ergonomically inviting to use if able to be placed and secured at a higher (viewing/access) height. Also, definitely keep to timely battery replacements.

So far I love the safe over all. It's a sound safe with some nice accessories. I didn't care for the shelves and inner design at first but it grew on me. I like the shelves a lot since they are raised on the sides. Perfect for holding documents or weapons with in with out having to worry too much about them falling off. Their is a safe like shelf as well which I like a lot since it prevents guns and contents from falling out and banging about in case the safe falls from a flood or accidental drop. I don't like the handle on it. When pulling it back up to lock the safe it would be great to hear a small click or something. If it's not all the way back up, which is easy, then it won't open when you try to reopen it. Don't care for that but with very little practice you get use to it. Second thing I would like is a vault handle instead of the strait handle. Other than that I highly reccomend this safe.

The size is perfect for my needs. My expectations of this safe is to protect my valuable items and documents from fire. As far as security, I am not counting on it to be "burglar proof" but the extra time it would take to force it open, or use the "tricks" for opening it as seen on "YouTube", would provide the alarm company a "head start" on sending the police.
