So far I love the safe over all. It's a sound safe with some nice accessories. I didn't care for the shelves and inner design at first but it grew on me. I like the shelves a lot since they are raised on the sides. Perfect for holding documents or weapons with in with out having to worry too much about them falling off. Their is a safe like shelf as well which I like a lot since it prevents guns and contents from falling out and banging about in case the safe falls from a flood or accidental drop. I don't like the handle on it. When pulling it back up to lock the safe it would be great to hear a small click or something. If it's not all the way back up, which is easy, then it won't open when you try to reopen it. Don't care for that but with very little practice you get use to it. Second thing I would like is a vault handle instead of the strait handle. Other than that I highly reccomend this safe.

This safe is a good size for my need. It was not easy to open at first. The Instruction sticker on the front of the save, has you scan the QCode which took you to several videos on how to open your safe, however, the key they refer to is inside the safe It probably would have been more helpful if the video started off on how to open the safe to retrieve the key that is inside! Batteries should be the first topic and then opening with the code.

This safe is the perfect for important papers and expensive jewelry. We now live in a retirement community, and my old gun safe would not fit. The location and size is perfect for my needs. The initial set up was a little quirky, but it works well after learning all of the secrets and pitfalls. The technician told that the mechanism for unlocking the safe was a little tight, and I needed to lift up slightly on the handle for the mechanism to unlock.

Like the safe but really wanted the GRC model. When I called I was told you stopped making it. Too bad. Had to pay an additional $60 to get the shelf I wanted to begin with when the GRC had what I wanted. Why did you stop making / producing the GRC?

I love this safe because it fits perfectly in my closet. When it arrived, I like the way the box was designed, because I was able to get it out and set it up by myself without needing any help. It was reassuring to know that the product has been tested and is fire proof and water proof.

This safe is very heavy. Few would be able to pick it up and carry it away. The locking mechanism appears very secure. Hopefully the electronic keypad would still function after being exposed to high heat. I have a smaller safe on which the top opens, but this one I can stack stuff on top of it and don't have to move it to get into the safe.

This safe has a really bad battery pack setup. I have changed the battery pack twice since the batteries corroded. I changed to new alkaline batteries and the safe still won't open. This is no alternate battery setup like other models. What do I do?

My Safe arrived and as I tried to open it for the first time, the door hand just detached and pulled out. I called customer service who assured me it was an unusual occurrence so I am returning for a replacement. Otherwise it appears to be of good build. I also thought the key was an alternative locking option independent of the keypad in case the latter ever failed but it seems to be a additional locking mechanism to the keypad.

It was a great safe but the locking mechanism only lasted a week. We are returning it for another one and hoping this was a fluke. Frustrating to have happen after bolting it down. The clutch mechanism went out on it so after putting in the code the handle moves up and down without engaging the lock. Done everything the directions have suggested.
