[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited about this because my son has a hard time brushing for the entire 2 minutes. The first time he used this he said he couldn’t tell when it changed colors, that it looked pink the entire time he was brushing. The next time he said he kept spitting while he was brushing holding that would help him decipher the colors and it was always pink. He doesn’t mind the taste, but the color changing feature doesn’t seem to work.

The change is barely there. The froth at the end of brushing a very subtle change to light pink. I guess I was expecting it to be more dramatic and it does it fairly quickly so my daughter thinks she’s down brushing once she sees pink but it’s not enough. The flavor she seems to like. Overall it’s just a bad toothpaste just doesn’t meet the hype.

This is great to teach kids to keep brushing their teeth until the color changes. My 4 years old daughter is still learning to brush her teeth and when she does brush them, she never brushes for longer than 1 minute. With this toothpaste, she is learning to brush longer and hopefully, better. Overall, I love this toothpaste. The idea is great and it's still comes in their favorite bubblegum favor.

I recommend this product as a tool to make brushing more interesting. My daughter and son (7 and 4 respectively) LOVE this product and were so amazed that it really does change color.
