[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this bed....it has the perfect level of not too soft and not too hard. The only thing I am slightly concerned about is that it is definitely more compressed where I sleep. I'm not sure if this is because it's only a few months old and needs to settle or what? Not too worried though given that the warranty will cover a replacement if it becomes too much of a problem.

love the comfort of the mattress, don't wake up sore in the morning anymore. Having trouble keeping the sheets on. We purchased a slip king. Have to put the fitted sheet back on every morning as it slides off. The flannel sheets seem to stay on a little better. I would definitely purchase another mattress.

This was our first memory foam bed, so we thought we were going straight to the top getting the name everyone knows. This bed was uncomfortable from the first night. It felt much firmer than it did in the store, and after reading more reviews, this is usually rated as a medium-firm on the comfort scale. We thought we would give it a fare chance, and ended up sleeping on it nearly the entire sleep trial, but the discomfort and pressure points that made my arms and hands fall asleep never relented. We ended up sending it back, which cost us $150 in freight charges, and it took a whopping 23 days for the refund to get back to our bank from the date the mattress was picked up. I would only recommend this bed to those who like a firm bed, and have money to burn. This mattress always felt hard as a brick to us, and we never saw the value in it for the premium price.

We ordered the medium hybrid Adapt mattresses based on trying them at a store. After a month we realized for sure that we were used to and wanted a more firm mattress. The exchange process has been a challenge. Through the whole order process and exchange process we were twice charged the wrong amount. The first time has been corrected but not yet the second time. The mattresses themselves are comfortable just not firm enough for us. We had been sleeping on an original Tempur-Pedic mattress that is 14 years old and still good. The folks have been courteous and friendly. Just the process and the charging system needs work so the correct amount goes through the first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a super senior I unfortunately have a chronic arthritic lower back issue and prior to the following explanation and routine was walking with a walker or cane.....every day and thought I would soon be in a wheel chair . I have followed my surgeons and primary care Dr's advice and have completed the xrays,mri's , facet injections, physical therapy and chiropractic therapy . I have lost 30 pounds and am now normal weight , continue to use... one... 75 mg anti inflammatory med 2-3 x per week , 12 specific back exercises as needed ,2 x per month 1 hour therapeutic body massage ....AHHHHHH...:-))) ,3 water walking classes per week ...and purchased a Tempur-pedic adapt med hybrid mattress with an adjustable base . NO DOUBT the mattress has given me the most relief and is the most important part of my daily life since I spend 7-8 hours on it every 24 hours. I know this to be true since the above explained routine with out the new mattress was not giving me regular relief ! As a further mattress comparison traveling is difficult but now tolerable for short mini vacations since most up scale hotels and or relatives do not have tempur-pedic mattresses available . So the quality of my life has greatly improved .thanks to tempur-pedic . FYI we have several other high end mattresses in our spare bedrooms that are only 6 months to 2 years old and claimed to be the best there is for back issues ....NOT TRUE . Spend 3-6 hours in a mattress shop that sells the tempur -pedic mattresses and test the many models available . No doubt they are expensive ....but ... they work as advertised . Usually purchasing a mattress is worse than buying a used car, listening to most incumbent politicians or paying your taxes ....BUT the ...Tempur -pedic experience is different .. Do yourself a favor and find out for yourself as you and your back will be pleasantly surprised !!

Have only had for about 3 weeks...still adjusting..the salesperson told me to give it 30 days. I have noticed moderate difference and definitely feel it will keep getting better. It does give me the firmness I need and after having a horrible mattress for years...my body is trying to accustom to a great sleep.

I love these mattresses. I had hoped the Adapt Medium would be similar to the mattress I bought 13 years ago -- I loved how firm it was. This Medium is softer, which probably is what 99% of the population wants. I preferred the super firmness of the older model. However, it's still a wonderful mattress that gives me very comfortable sleep.

We bought this mattress to replace a bulky pillow top mattress with a large indentation on my side of the bed. I really like the way this mattress takes its shape back when I'm out of it. Also I thought it may help with my lower back pain when getting out of bed. Unfortunately it's not the case the back pain is still there. Not the fault of the mattress. Temperpedic is a great mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a old mattress and was waking up every morning with severe lower back pain. I couldn't stand up straight for a bit after waking up.. With this mattress, I have been able to wake up And get moving like I used to with no problems. This is the best, most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. I'll never go back!!

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.
