I know this is a very sharp cheese but... it seemed like it had a weird coating on it that I have never had on this cheese before. If I didn't live 2.5 hours away, I would have taken it back.

Great taste you can have it in any of your meals could be added to your breakfast lunch or diner with eggs salads bread crackers it is a yummy complement to you day! Enjoy!

This is classified as an “extra mature” Irish Cheddar; this is a cheddar that roars! If you want a strong and cheesy flavor, Dubliner is the best! If you want a milder yet still tasty flavor then it’s sister, Bally Shannon is a good choice! I only use Dubliner as I LOVE CHEESE! Cauliflower cheese casserole, Mac n’ cheese, just plain cheese sauce - Dubliner is my go to cheese. I put mine in a food processor and crumble it as it freezes well.
