Amazing TV for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were behind the times and desperately needed to update our TV. Therefore, I did my research and compared prices on all of the smart TV's on the market. For the price, this was an absolute steal. In all honesty, I thought a TV with these capabilities and picture quality would be much more expensive. Setup was fairly quick and painless; just connecting to the internet, downloading and signing into our apps and we were set to go. We used to have to use a separate mirroring device connected to our old TV to use our streaming apps, but were pretty excited that we didn't need it anymore. You can use the interface on the TV or just use your phone and throw it up on the screen. We are more than happy with the purchase, and if we ever wanted to upgrade again, I would probably go with Samsung because I don't have to worry about the quality.

What happened?

i typically look to samsung for quality products, but this television did not meet my expectation. 1. the wifi connection is unstable. 2. theres an issue with lagging - at times i'll make selections on the remote control and nothing happens on the tv for several seconds so i press the button again and the tv will perform that function twice. this is incredibly frustrating because you have to wait for the tv to respond all over again. 3. the settings arent as intuitive to navigate. if i could give this tv zero stars, i would. i am dissappointed.

Reggie: I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Version 1301.5 is now available on the Support page on the Samsung website. To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concerns. AWESOME!!!

Amazing upgrade!

This Tv the as an amazing upgrade. It took a while to get inside the house but it was well worth it. The quality is amazing and it comes pre featured with everything we want and need. The only problem I see in this Tv is the amount of HDMI ports there are only 2 HDMI ports on the tv so you have to really think about what you want to hook up.

All in One

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has been much better than I anticipated. We use Android and Apple devices in my house, so before we primarily used Chromecast if we wanted to cast anything from our phones to the TV. We had considered getting an Apple TV too so that the Apple phones could share their screen, but this TV let's you cast both right out of the box. It has all the apps I could ever need, plus free Samsung TV Plus. They recently added a Portlandia channel, so I pretty much only watch that now. I even switched to a Samsung phone recently and there are even more integrations that I'm learning about, pretty impressive if you ask me. We used a sound bar for a little bit, but the TV speakers seemed better than the soundbar that we had on hand - YMMV though.

Amazing Picture

Great TV, needs better remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I use our TV for gaming and streaming movies and shows. We had been using my old Sony flatscreen for something like ten years, and I thought there was no point in upgrading my screen. When I saw this TV for the price I thought I should at least get a screen with a smaller profile that weighed less. Boy was I surprised at how well this has worked out for us. Because it weighs less than the old TV it puts less stress on my entertainment center and is easier to move around the room when we want to reorganize. The ease of setting it up was incredible as far as connecting our streaming services. The real joy came when I realized how much visual quality I had been losing on my old TV when it came to gaming and movies, though. The colors pop so much better, with greater detail and games on my PS4 look better than ever, I can't wait until I get a PS5 to see even better graphical fidelity out of my games on this TV. My only complaint is that we have a second TV of the same brand, and because of the remote control being the same it winds up controlling both TVs at the same time when clearly we really only want 1 TV being changed (volume, channel, app, etc.) but we've managed a system that sort of works. I just wish it didn't require a workaround at all.

Great Buy

ive owned vizio, lg, sony amoung others brands. this samsung is the very best of all. i toyed between the samsung and one other brand. howver, at my office, we have samsung in the conference room as well as the employee break room. seeing how clear the picture was on those tvs aided in my decision to purchase a samsung. easy to set up and easy to locate/download apps.

A Spectacular Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a TV to replace my old family room TV. I definitely, have to go with my intuition which is landed me to Samsung. My budget and the requirement to bring the family together with crystal clear colored picture, perfect sounds, and tens of applications. so after a week long studying, googling, and searching for the best and high rated TV that is my new TV Samsung 55" Crystal UHD 7 series. its beyond my expectations, very happy with the quality and performance. I'm so delighted and proud to be a Samsung fan. I recommend a TV shoppers to consider Samsung. they have a device for every requirements and budget. Just try and will never regret.

ITh the volume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV about 2 months ago and it's been great. It's literally the nicest TV I've ever owned. The quality for the money can't be beat. The picture is great very nice contrast. The sound quality is very good too. We liked it so much we bought the 65” model for the Master bedroom.
