Mighty god: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly. Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software which can be found on the Support page of your TV model. 5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement. 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the SUPPORT link in the upper right corner for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options Again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this product. WEI WU: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features. Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer. Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device. Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test I hope this helps. If your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support, and a representative will gladly assist you. Available at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the SUPPORT link in the upper right corner for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options Again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this product. Poor performance. Would not recommend Samsung

I bought this tv less than 3 years ago and it already having issues powering on. Sometimes it takes 5-30 minutes to turn on. Once it is on it works fine, but very disappointed that this model isn't working properly. Contacted Samsung support via email with no response. Called the Samsung support # and the representative walked me through some troubleshooting, but couldn't fix the issue. Now I'm stuck with a 58” tv that won't turn on when I want it to. They suggested I call for repair service, which would cost as much as I paid for the tv.

Dead after a year

Was a decent TV for the price when it worked. Unfortunately a year and 2 months after purchasing, it's essentially dead. It will not power on. I've tried every trick with no success. The little red light flashes, so it's receiving power. Just can't fully turn on, stays black screen. Happened out of the blue, nothing triggered it. Very frustrating, huge waste of money. A TV should last much longer than a year.

Great 4K TV

I have been using for a week now with no issues. After reading other reviews I decided not to use the Smart functions of this TV. Instead I am using an NVIDIA Shield TV. Everything works great so far. Picture is bright, colors are vivid and HDR seems to be working great. One piece of advice I would give is make sure, if you are using an external smart device. Make sure your HDMI cable is at least HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.

Love it....but....

I'll make this quick, I LOVE IT!!! What sucks is lack of storage or the option to add more. How can I perform a software update, when the TV out the box only gives like 200 MB. I had to delete the only two apps I downloaded and then tv still didnt have enough storage. Ima give it a week then change my review to a 2 star.

Good product with a few tweaks

the picture is great and it was easy to set up. i do think the remote could be more user friendly; using the arrows and enter button at the bottom for almost every operation is cumbersome. the home screen is also a bit frustrating because it defaults to a random series or movie if you hit a button incorrectly and the apps are very small compared to the screen. all in all a good product for the cost.

Warning no simple brightness adjustment on this.

It's a nice color when it's visible. Whatever has been done to eliminate the visible image of dark scenes in a brighter room, other than an entire night, is a failure. And I have tried all the "expert" advice to make this thing work. The sad thing is that we also bought six 65-inches of this series at work, and they are just as bad. And the remotes are now absolutely senior citizen-proof; the ADA should investigate that person....

Samsung TV Always My First Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this tv to replace my previous Samsung TV which was at least 10 years old. It was still working fine just wanted a bigger one. Samsung offers their own TV service similar to cable which I love and free of charge. Can even get it on Samsung phones now. My TV is crystal clear and has a nice set of built in speakers with nice sound and base. Only thing is it only has 2 HDMI ports and I was used to have 3 or 4 but the two will suffice. The smart features allows me access to all my streaming services so that's a plus. Overall I've never been disappointed with Samsung products.

Would not recommend

I bought this TV in March of 2021 and had to return it to the store the next day as it was not working correctly. I returned it and it worked well for about three weeks. It is currently turning on and off by itself and I cannot correct it. I heard that Samsung were great products, but I am very unhappy with this product. Would not recommend.

Hello Janet, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with your TV powering itself on and off. Sometimes connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the TV to turn itself on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If you are using an external device through HDMI, this also could cause the auto power on as Anynet+ is set on. Occasionally, connected devices such as game consoles (PS4, xbox) or cable set top boxes send power on signals, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you to try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on. Go to Setting- General - External Device Manager - Anynet+, then Disable (toggle button) If your TV still appears to turn off by itself, please also try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions. See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it. - Settings > General > Eco Solution > Auto Power Off - Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer If the TV continues to turn on or off by itself continuously, please contact our TV Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913. For additional support resources, visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) More ‘Contact Us’ options – LiveChat, Facebook, Twitter, Samsung Community, Samsung Members app 2) Manuals & Software 3) Warranty Info 4) Product Registration: For access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates.
