The only S brand i will use in my home

my father usually stays with samsung for his living room. that tv has not had any issue ever. so when he needed a new tv for his bedroom, because he was ina rush, he decided to get the other s brand. after 1year 9 months, that tv just died. so we made sure to get a samsung after that. he couldnt be happier.

Great for everything I use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv works really well with all my gaming consoles and has youtube and Netflix pre-installed so literally everything I would use my old tv for is in this one without using a firestick or a Roku or some other external device. Overall 15 out of 10 love it!

This product is authentic

Samsung 42 inch TV

Purchased this TV about 5 years ago. We moved to the country and we boxed it up with bubbles wrap and I went to the best buy store to get a TV box. They didn't have any in stock so they gave me a 50 inch box, which was perfect because we stuffed blankets into it for extra padding. We moved and unpacked the TV and everything works great. Then...we got another dog. It's a Shepherd Collie and Husky mix. Lots of energy. So it was garbage day and my wife and I were both outside when we hear our other dog barking and barking inside the house. We had the TV on and playing dog TV on Utube thinking it would calm them down. We can back inside and the TV was still playing but was facedown on the concrete floor. We both said OMG . It's our only TV as we are downsizing and we sold our other 2 Samsungs. We picked it up and put it back on the table and I swear to you.... not a scratch. It fell 3 feet. I turned it off and waited then turned it on and no problem. Fantastic product. We are so happy with it.

A Must See TV For All

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was the first one I ever owned Smart and 4k, im more depressed that it was stolen than ever in my life because every tv I see now compares not. Wifi direct, instantly connected with my Note 10+ and could us multiple sound/audio devices during Bluetooth connectivity. The most amazing visually and technically to me by far and my friends have other models of Smart 4k Brands.

Great t.v

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my t.v for Hulu netflix and to play switch and Xbox it automatically detects your device if you turn it on which I think its pretty cool and overall samsung is my favorite brand to buy from because of the quality of there products hands down for this t.v 10 stars

Having singal issues, even after full reset of TV

i'm not sure what is going on, we exchanged my lg tv for a samsung thinking it was the tv itself. we would be wacthing tv and all of a sudden, the hdmi would lose signal. this is an ongoing problem and i'm not sure how to fix it. i even got one of those flex boxes through comcast to see if it would make a difference and it didn't. would give it more better rating but this issue i keep having with the hdmi signal is really getting on my last nerve. not sure what i can do to keep this issue from happening again. i've tried google searching and i'm not able to find any answers as to why this keeps happening or what i can do to fix it.

Pretty great product for the price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid mid-range TV. I thought it'd be slow being android but it's pretty fast and has a much better UI than the legacy TVs. Picture quality is pretty sharp and even better when the content you play is in 4K.

Our New Living Room TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our living room TV. We watch movies and love the steaming capabilities of the TV. The only downside to this TV is that it only has 2 HDMI ports. Makes it hard to connect stereo, DVD player and any streaming device like Fire TV.

On again Off again

shortly after the warranty expired so did the tv. cuts off and on every few seconds. can't stop that from happening without unplugging the tv. useless now. went through all the troubleshooting steps and online tricks. just not working. have to buy a new one not sure it will be a samsung product.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly, and that the troubleshooting steps you have attempted did not resolve the issue. Please try a few additional trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.
