Best tv

Would of gave it 5 stars but A&E

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i just bought it a few months ago. It has nice features but some can be improve. controller for tv isnt comfortable. Button feel on controller feel stiff and hard to push the right button. app A&E make my tv crash everytime. I was going to call samsung because of that. Because I just bought it and just started to use the features and apps. A&E app made my tv go black. I was scared because the only to stop the black screen was to turn my tv off everytime it does that.

great tv i am very pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally we had a TV just for our children to watch videos, but since we bought this TV we have used it for many other things, such as watching series and movies on different apps, broadcasting from our cell phones, mirroring screens, playing on different video game consoles , listen to music, I can even connect it to the sound bar for a better sound experience when we watch movies, my youngest son lost the remote control and it was no problem because with the smarthings app we can do whatever we want, we are very happy to have made this purchase. we have a great tv

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only snag with this TV is it operates on the same signal as my other samsung. So when the remote is in close proximity to both TV's - it operates both. Would love to know if there is a simple program that I use on either remote to isolate the signal to a single device.

On again Off again

shortly after the warranty expired so did the tv. cuts off and on every few seconds. can't stop that from happening without unplugging the tv. useless now. went through all the troubleshooting steps and online tricks. just not working. have to buy a new one not sure it will be a samsung product.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly, and that the troubleshooting steps you have attempted did not resolve the issue. Please try a few additional trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement. Really?

i own 2 other samsung tv s (not crystal) and i don't see any difference in quality or clarity of the picture. the remote sucks. you want the volume on 17? press button 17 times, you must press the key each and every time u want to adjust volume, change channel, back up and replay youtube videos. i prefer easy remotes. you press and hold buttons and they keep changing until you release.

HDMI Headaches

i purchased this tv specifically to connect to a laptop computer via hdmi. i have been using it for only about two weeks and have spent hours troubleshooting the hdmi connection. i foolishly passed up another tv brand for samsung because i thought i was getting a higher quality product. if the tv wasn't so difficult to box up and return to the store, i would have returned it within hours of purchasing the tv. since samsung obviously knows that the software is bad, i cannot believe they kept selling this model. i will never purchase another samsung product after this experience.

To connect your TV to a laptop, connect an HDMI cable (with an adapter, if necessary) into your computer, and connect the other end into the desired HDMI IN port on the TV. Make sure the cable is properly attached. Then, use the remote to navigate to Home, and then select Source. From there, select the PC as the video source. To wirelessly connect the TV to your device, read the instructions at PC Screen Sharing (Wireless) in Connection Guide, and then try to connect. Source > Connection Guide > PC > Screen Sharing (Wireless) Confirm that the TV and your PC are connected to the same network. If the TV has difficulties connecting to your PC due to surrounding radio interference, change the frequency of the wireless access band, and then try to connect. Firmware Update

Amazing Smart TV!

we needed a new tv and have always heard good things about samsung products so we decided to go with this one. so glad we did, this tv is amazing. all we did is plug different items in and the tv found them immediately - xfinity, nintendo, xbox, all the apps are already there and labeled. you don't have to worry about hitting input anymore... you simply click the over button and a list of all your stuff is right there. its amazing and i don't know how we ever lived without it. lol love this tv!! it has updated a few times and it takes literally seconds - our old phillips tv took forever to update, never found our wifi.. it was an awful tv. this tv found our wifi immediately.
