Great whiskey

Really enjoyed my bottle of makers. What made it more special is that it came from my barrel and even had my name engraved on it. Beautiful place to visit and was so much fun to dip our own bottles. Really enjoyed their many variations of old fashions.

Maker's Mark has a special place in my heart as it was introduced to me at a very special party held in my honor. It was served with dessert, neat. My previous aperitif experience was all sticky and sweet products. This was an amazing blend of flavors with the room temperature bourbon and the dessert...just amazing. Now, I drink it before dinner as well. I highly recommend Maker's Mark for either occasion. You won't be disappointed!

Yes!

The beautiful multi-page ad in this month's Gun and Garden Magazine made me proud to have an almost empty bottle of Maker's Mark on the shelf with several dusty and unopened bottles of bourbon. The best the ad was the page with mint seeds. It is a shame that so many readers must have passed over that brilliant page without understanding what they saw. If it were not for being a long time lover of Maker's and having done time in the advertising racket I might have not gone back for a closer look. My copy has already gone to my sister who has two young grand daughters who get excited about things like the seedy page.

Started drinking whiskey in my mid-20s. Started with manhattans & quickly moved onto just whiskey & an ice cube. I’m Irish so there was ALWAYS Irish whiskey around every family gathering including Sunday dinners growing up & I could never get into any, even the highest end Jameson... closest was the secret Lagavulin 16 my uncle kept (he married into the Irish lol) I branched out from “vodka soda splash of cran!” when I started working on the service industry around really great bartenders. I had my first Manhattan and was sold. I very quickly leaned into just bourbon on a single ice cube bc honestly there’s nothing you need to add to any variation of makers mark to make it better. It’s literally always in my house!

Excellence at first taste

It's when you peel back the wax and make small pour. You bring it to your nose and the fragrance United you for a taste. Just the right amount of kick ti get things started then the smoothness sets in. It's like that bug from a friend you've not seen in a long time. Settle in for a long conversation. That's what you want in a great bourbon. Makers Mark 46 is that friend that's always there.

I am a loyal Makers Mark Ambassador

Love the product, but the green dip over the top of the normal red was awful this holiday season!! The pull strip under the dip is NOT strong enough for two layers - it just breaks! I had to cut off the green layer with a utility knife to open the bottle - NOT safe! Make a new choice please.

Excellent, smooth taste!

Love my Maker's Mark whether it be on the rocks or with a touch of water to draw out the flavor. Been an ambassador since 2012 and my wife has been since shortly thereafter. Here is one problem we did run into with the Christmas decorated 1.75L bottles that we purchased during the Christmas holidays. By applying the green wax over the red wax it was very difficult to get to get the top off. Each one took at least 20 minutes resulting in a lot of work and a little nicking up of the hands. There may have been an easy way to do it but we sure could not figure it out. Just thought I would pass this along to you.

This is my go-to spirit for enjoying an old fashioned at home (or a Manhattan on occasion). It delivers a classic and smooth taste at a reasonable price. Have been a big fan of Maker’s Mark ever since I experienced dipping my own bottle at the distillery in Loretta, KY years ago!

Bourbon is our house liquor and Maker’s Mark doesn’t disappoint! We keep the 1.75L on hand at all times. Smooth, flavorful, and very easy to drink whether on the rock or mixed into a cocktail. I also use it in baking to replace vanilla! Reasonably priced and available at all grocery and liquor stores. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great bourbon.

Cheers

Oh, Maker's Mark Kentucky whisky is a true gem from the Bluegrass State! This iconic bourbon is known for its smooth and rich flavor profile. Crafted with care in Loretto, Kentucky, Maker's Mark uses a unique recipe that includes red winter wheat instead of rye, giving it a distinctively mellow and approachable taste. Whether you prefer sipping it neat, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail like an Old Fashioned, Maker's Mark always delivers a delightful experience. So next time you're looking to enjoy a fine whiskey, give Maker's Mark a try and savor the flavors of Kentucky craftsmanship. Cheers!
