I have a small, private, self funded, English style pub near my real estate office in rural, eastern Virginia where my friends meet. I serve draft beer, stock 90 to 100 spirits (mainly bourbons and Scotches). Makers Mark and Laphroaig the most popular beverages I serve.

If you're a bourbon lover, you probably love Maker's. If you're a bartender, you have probably used Maker's. If you love a good old fashioned, you've probably tried Maker's. If you have money and like to get drunk, you've probably tried Maker's. I really like the packaging, with the wax seal...it's a neat touch that makes it stand out from other bourbons. It makes a great, smooth cocktail. It's just a really nice bourbon overall.

I only drank beer until someone offered me a drink of Makers Mark. Have not drank anything since. That was 35 years ago. It's part of me now!!! Love the taste. Thank You. I also have a barrel and dipped my own bottle. Still use that bottle and buy the bigger one and refill it because It also has my name on it. Keep up the good work!!!!

When I started dabbling in bourbon given my brother and son-in-laws bourbon habit, I tried about 40 different brands of bourbon. But I kept coming back to Maker's Mark. I've finally quit tasting others and now exclusively buy MM. On the rocks or as a bourbon sour - it doesn't get any better.

I love it straight up but my friends and family like when I put it in the blinder with slushy coke and ice and make them a nice strong maker's market slushy especially on them hot sunny days it's cool refreshing drink and I love that it is so smooth when u want it straight up or a slushy

I should mention, right off the bat, that I'm not much of a drinker. In fact, I'm reviewing this whiskey because it's the “secret” ingredient in my homemade vanilla bourbon ice cream. Maker's Mark is perfect in that ice cream recipe because the whiskey itself is full-bodied, flavorful, and smooth. It mellows beautifully in an ice cream because it gives the batch a distinctive bourbon flavor without making the final product taste “booze-y.” Unlike other whiskeys I've used in the past, the Maker's Mark also plays nicely in the freezer, and doesn't cause unpleasant ice crystals to form, leaving the finished ice cream smooth and delicious.

I drink Maker's Mark products and have not found one yet I didn't like. I also have a large collection of Maker's Mark bottles. My only complaint is last year a very, very limited number of collector bottles in three (3) different design labels were released the same day. It was almost impossible to buy more than one (1). I went to four stores in Lexington and all were out within 45 - 50 minutes from opening the doors. I have been very disappointed in your decision to market these bottles in such a thoughtless manner. It is a disgusting blow to Ambassadors and collectors!

For those who have been down the Bourbon Trail we know that this is not a Top Tier bourbon BUT it is a Good bourbon. Maker's Mark is a good every day drinker and does mix well. Doesn't give the Kentucky Hug as much as others so it is smooth. I do enjoy a Maker's Old Fashioned and always have a bottle on hand.

This whiskey is a family ordeal in our home. My father introduced me to it and so on. I once gave my friend a pour into his glass before he could get his bottle of jack opened. We then watched a whole fifth of jack swirl down the sink, amd he has never touched another whisky since.

So I've been a huge fan of Makers Mark since I was given my first bottle when I got home from my first deployment from Iraq. It was the USMC Camp pendleton addition one, Since then it's been my go to whenever I'm out with friends. I personally drink a "Maker's stone sour" which is obviously a Markers sour but with a splash of orange juice. Please try it if you haven't! I've now been to the distillery twice! Both times have been awesome! Anyways can't wait for my barrel to be done so I can come back and get some from it!. Cheers p.s. thanks for the Xmas gifts every year! Yall are awesome!
