This little canned ham was a good value. I did some research and DAK has been around since the 1940's....and they're still going strong. This is good when you're in a pinch and it stores well. I try to have a few on them in my pantry racks just in case.

If you're familiar with this ham I don't need to say more. If you're not, try it. I just opened my last can dated 2008. It tasted as good as day 1. You can chop it into cubes and pan fry it. Add to mac and cheese. Slice it. Fry it and make a sandwich. Better than Spam but costs about the same. I know, not everybody likes Spam, but don't be a snob. If I recall, this is an old Dutch company that I grew up with. Walmart is about the only place I could find it at this chaotic time. Half the price as the Jungle and fast shipping. I'm an old Prime member but doing a lot more shopping here all the time. Walmart is good people.

Really not good...but with Walmart totally limiting what can be purchased online it is difficult to get anything good...especially when you cannot leave your home...do tired up with things it is slightly doable. Not the way I remembered can hams from my youth. This is more like a glorified SPAM than an actual small ham. And it is very very small. Chopped meat and very fatty...do not reccomend if you have other options to go to a store or buy fresh food...if not, well at least it is food...

Horrible, horrible, horrible!! From the photo on the can shown, you would think you are getting an actual piece of meat resembling ham. What you actually get is a mush of something with a few pieces of ham in it, pre-formed to fit the can. I would not feed this to the possums in my yard. It pains me to give it one ⭐️, but the website requires it.

Good product from old line supplier. Portion size is ample for two people as the meat entre Portion size is sufficient for use as meat item in meal, say; scalloped potatoes, salad, breakfest, rice dishes etc. Keeps forever and needs no refrigeration. Good size for barter too should you need to do some in the future.

Am giving this one star because there is no rating for ordering this Dak ham and receiving a bag of cough drops instead!! I really would have preferred the ham, but I understand everyone is stressed and I am just grateful that they are there to fill the orders at all...so thanks guys and hopefully next time, will get the Dak ham and can give it a good rating. The Ludens wild Cherry cough drops were good though!! :)

I like having one or two of these hams in the cupboard, especially during the winter! They don't require refrigeration, so keep at room temps for a long time. I usually use them in other foods, such as pea soup, baked beans or scalloped potatoes, but it can be oven roasted or sliced and fried, or sliced for sandwiches. I often slice and dice these hams to use in cold macaroni salads, or slice/dice in a fry pan with hash browns then scramble eggs into it. The flavor of these hams is quite mild but I've used a little liquid smoke flavoring to zip up the flavor, especially with pea soup or baked beans.

The is not ham its ground up fat with a little ham added that is press in a can, Loaded with saltand taste nothing like ham . Dak sold me my first and last fake ham--- Even my dogs would eat but a little of it .the rest went in to the trash can . TO LITTLE ham to much salt . IT IS NOT HAM BUT HAM BY PRODUCTS fat and salt pressed in a can - think about you heart and DAK sale it as food .

I like ham! But being single, old & disabled - a 'larger' and 'fresher' cut woul not be to my best interest. I do my best to fake it, with some brown sugar & cloves - nutmeg...or just 'nuke' it & slice for sandwiches - usually end up feeding it to he dog! But since it's canned - I keep it up with my SPAM, tuna, kippers - my survival food. Only reason I ordered it, was because it an be delivered. It's HARD, hauling loads of groceries in a wheelchair, or walker - using 'public transportation'w/transfers without assistance...I'm a proud Vietnam Vet. I haven't had any assistance since I've been back. So I DO it myself...the best way I can.

I have eaten these canned hams for years. They are salty...I slice it and put it all in a pan with water, have it come to a boil, remove from heat and pour off the water in 5 minutes. Takes out a lot of saltiness. I keep these on hand for long term storage ....I have used some after having them for 5 years with no problem, mainly due to the salt content
