If the good smell helps keep the litter room fresher smelling, but your cats may prefer a lesser scent, you could do what I do, mix some non-scent litter in with it.

I am even considering getting a few boxes to my local cat shelter because cats and their guardians deserve good, well clumping litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently tried the febreze Fresh Step, I have always used just the multi cat regular brand Fresh Step. With 3 indoor cats we need good liter with great odor control and Fresh Step has that. We have been very satisfied with thier product.

I asked my friend to catsit for me for a few days. She asked me what litter I used because "when I scoop at home it makes me sad but when I scoop here I smile." I think if you can make someone smile while scooping a litter box, you have a pretty good product.

I have two cats in a 1 bedroom apartment and currently use Fresh Step Frebreze Multi-cat. Since I switch to this product I haven't experienced any odor issues. In fact when guests come over my two cats hide and there is no odor evidence to indicate a cats presence. The only reason I didn't give five stars is due to the fact that the consistency of the litter is sand like and constant sweeping is necessary.

It clumps beautiful and you can’t smell when the cats have gone either 1 or 2. I even have a litter box behind my couch. No smells. Great product!!!
