I've tried them all! And I mean all: nonclumping clay, wood chips, pellets, and so many other brands of litter. I've done the experiment! Been there, done that. Trust me, don't waste your time. Love the easy, manageable packaging. Love, love, love my rescued abandoned kitties and Fresh Step!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pleasantly surprised about how well this cat litter controls the worst poo smells! Initially, the odor is bad, but it will go away quickly! Great clumping for easy removal and lasts a long time between thorough litter box cleanings!

I have had multiple sets of cats... As each set has come through, and each grouping, none have ever shied away from this litter. It's also kept the odor contained from multiple breeds of cats at once to the relative room their litter box has resided in. I do recommend this litter!

Much more dust than the Unscented kind I usually use, and also the smell is just too much at times...I think the scent is too strong...and that's for ME...then I think of my poor cats who can smell much better than I can, and they are in there WITH IT, and digging around which just brings more dust into the air...I hate to think they're breathing all that in :-(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months back, and this does help keep the odor down longer. It has a nice scent. My cats liked it and that is the main thing. Well if the odor is bad or it stick all to the container that is bad for me. And this is not bad about the sticky stink I like to say. LOL

I have one cat, but she has digestive issue which can lead to some pretty smelly bathroom breaks. With this litter though I don't smell it all. I combine it with some litter deodorizer and then line the box with a litter box bag. After a week I throw the whole thing out. During that time you'd swear I didn't have a cat, no smell at all. It's quality litter and it's what I'll keep using as long as I can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was good before the addition of Febreeze, but now it is even better yet. Have two cats and keep litter box in the half bathroom downstairs. Never smell an order while in or walking past the room. Fresh Step is by far the BEST cat litter on the market to control with oder. It might be more expensive than other brands, but well worth the price. Don't use as much either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Strp Multicat litter with febreeze truly covers the smell of my litter box better than any other brand I have tried. In a small home with two cats and emptying the box at least once daily odor control is the characteristic I look for first.

so we recently switched to this litter. I was worried, but it seemed well rated. I am so pleased. Not only is it fresh, but it does not get tracked around as much and it is very low dust! I wish I could find a good litter that is dust free, but this is as close as I have found. The 10 day odor thing seems a bit of a stretch, however. Otherwise, we are satisfied cat parents.
