I have used other litter, and the only reason I switched to Fresh Step was because the person who watches my cats when I am away complained about the litter I was using. Since she watches my cats for free, I accommodated her by using Fresh Step while I was away. Turns out that I liked it so much that I am now using it all the time! It clumps well, but not so hard that it is hard to get out of the litter box. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and 38 pounds of litter lasts quite awhile (I have four cats). I also love that the 38 pound box is actually two 19-pound boxes that make it much easier for me to carry upstairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried so many different litters and I always come back to Fresh Step. It's the best at odor control. When I got a second cat we needed a bit more out of the litter and this multicat works perfectly at keeping odor down with multiple cats in a home.

I recently purchased the new litter with Febreeze. I am really happy with the fact that there is less "litter dust" as advertised when pouring and scooping. Big Bonus!! Been using the product for about a month now and it does do a great job of odor control.

Bought the 42lb bag about a month ago and pleased with the overall performance of the litter. It has a nice fresh scent that isn't overpowering but also helps cover the odor of everyday multi-cat use. It does cost a bit more than the other litters, but I think it's worth the extra dollar or two. We got about a month out of the bag with two litter boxes and two cats.

Having two cats I've gone through brand after brand trying to find the best odor control litter and I think I found it! This cat litter is perfect, it keeps odors under control and the febreeze included I believe is the lifesaver of this product. I've been using this litter for about 2 months now and I won't go back to any other brand! Highly recommend if your a multi cat owner like me!

I used to use arm and hammer clump and seal and I switched to this after I tried it one day, it is the best cat litter ! It clumps but the clumps don’t break like they would with the other litter I used.. and it smells really good, ofc with the aid of fresh step scent crystals ! Fav litter ever !

I have tried just about every cat litter on the market. I have used coupons, bought the most expensive, cheapest, reviewed etc. Absolutely NONE have compared to Freshstep in odor control. Second the clumping is great. I prefer the clumping. I can use the same litter from two 8 lb bags in two boxes for one week with three cats and never smell a cat or the litter box. I scoop daily and on my way in two minutes. Won’t ever buy another brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use the pine litters and my cats started leaving little surprises outside the box - not fun for me. Then I decided to go to a clay dust clumping litter like fresh step again and they started using the box again. Mama is happy!

I purchased this one day simply because the store i went to only had this, but boy was i glad. I had tried several multi cat liters and even cleanly daily could still smell the urine smell and poop smell it was embarrassing. So any way i cleaned out the boxes and started fresh with this I couldn't believe it no more smell I have continued to buy ever since. It also clumps great with less sticking to the bottom of the boxes..... I highly recommend this to anyone with multiple cats there is ZERO smell even if I get busy and miss one day of cleaning which doesn't happen often but once in a blue moon life happens and it still smells fresh

We have 2 cats and this is really the best product that covers the smell. The box is scooped twice a day. I find the hardest part about the Fresh Step products is that although there are a number of different types, they all have the same claims on the box. I'd used the triple action and multi-cat before but found this with the Fabreeze has the best odor control. They all have dust, but this seems to be less dusty then some of the others to.
