I have been using this product for years and was happy when the addition of Febreeze was added. It controls the odor very well and keeps the litter area smelling very fresh. As with any cat litterbox you will still have to scoop regularly. There is only so much a great product can handle

I always use Fresh Step since it's really the best clumping litter I've found...I have tried others but not anymore...Haven't bought a different brand in years...I really like this new packaging...Much easier to control in smaller quantities...Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually have the litter in the living room since I have a small house and I have a litter Robot. Its pretty big and takes a lot of space. Since I bought the Febreze freshness there is not one bad odor and the only way you know the cats did their thing is from the humming of the litter robot when it activates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three cats and use only this litter. My only complaint is that the plastic packaging tears easily and is very difficult to grip. The litter itself is unparalleled from any other experiences I have attempted to try when unavailable. Arm and Hammer has never covered up smell for example and quite frankly had an odd odor of its own. A bit hard to scoop unless you have multiple litter boxes which can be pricey to take care of compared to non-clumping clay, but completely worth it.

I have a bunch of cats, so I need a litter that not only gets the job done, but also keeps the littler smell away. The Febreeze-scented Fresh Step is the best that I've tried. Some people walk in and are surprised to learn that I have cats, since they can't smell the litter.

Best there is meow! We LOVE EVERYTHING meow about it! NO SMELL! One time when we had kitty sitter, she accidentally A & H! MEOW! It was the worst litter box experience ever! We were soooo meow happy when our Mom got home and figured out the problem meow. Before you could say Fresh Step, our box was meeeeow!! Thank you Mom! Thank you Fresh Step! This stuff clumps great making for easy scoops. You can make it last by adding fresh litter when needed. Hint- try adding fresh litter under the old. It'll help keep clumps from sticking. Also, I use arm& Hammer deodorizer as well, but not always. If Fresh Step offered deodorizer I would get it. Thanks Fresh Step!

So trying this was the best thing ever the original fresh start is good for one cat me however need something stronger because I have multi cats especially now that one of my cats give kittens or I should say gave birth to kittens I’m looking forward to other fresh step products

I bought this a month ago and have used in our 2 litter boxes. It is low tracking (HOORAY) and although I like the scent it needs to be slightly less (I am asthmatic). I DO like that it is low dust when pouring into litter boxes and it is great at clumping. It controls odor from box well.

It clumps beautiful and you can’t smell when the cats have gone either 1 or 2. I even have a litter box behind my couch. No smells. Great product!!!
