We are a 5-cat family that has used a LOT of litter over the years. I feel like the Fresh Step formula must have changed over time. What used to work great at controlling orders now only seems average. It used to be that Fresh Step was the ONLY litter that we would use because it seemed like the ONLY one that actually worked for multiple cats. But, these days, I feel like some others are just as good or maybe even better. Again, I think they have slowly changed the formula over the years -- for the worse. Also, I always preferred the reusable buckets. Losing them was a huge deal for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cat litter! I "inherited" my cat and his current litter a few years ago. I had trouble keeping my house from smelling like a giant litter box, even with completely changing the litter regularly. When it was time to buy more I decided to shop around a bit. I'm so happy the part about febreze caught my eye. This litter clumps so well and my house never smells like cat. Right now I have 1 adult and 3 kittens that were orphaned and I bottle fed. They are now 3 1/2 months old and having been using the litter box for a long time. That equals a lot of cat waste but still no smell! I don't feel like I waste litter like I did with the old kind by having to change it all frequently. I would definitely recommend this!

I have 3 cats and they share one litter box. I have tried many different cat litters trying to find one that will keep the cat box the freshest the longest and Fresh Step is the best one. I clean out the litter once a day but even still, with 3 cats, it can get pretty smelly if the litter is not top notch. Fresh Step works great at keeping odors away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy this every week. One to two boxes. I have 4 cats. Out of all the different litter I have tried this is the best one I have found out there. For this many cats. I’ve bought the one that is packaged with bags you can reseal but I can NEVER get the paw points from it.

I was very impressed with this particular kitty litter. I don't even notice a litter smell when I walk in the door. The biggest bonus is that in the past month that we have been using this particular brand my husband has not once said "come on honey, you have to do something about that litter!". THANK YOU!!

I have been a faithful user of fresh step (two cat household in NYC one bedroom apt) and it always keeps the apt feeling like there is no litter at all. My cats sneeze a lot after using the litter box, but this new version on fresh step doesn't have as much dust and doesn't make them sneeze! Yay!

I have tried several types of litter, and this is my favorite. It does exactly what it claims. No odors in my house. A friend came to my house recently and gave me the best complement. He asked if I still had the cat. He wasn’t sure because he couldn’t detect any unpleasant odors. Doesn’t get better than that.

I bought this about a week ago after noticing that the Extreme with Febreze wasn't lasting as long as I thought it should. So far, the multi cat formula is working very well for my 3 adult cats. The fragrance seems to be a little strong, but it is neutralizing the litter box odors quite well. This product clumps well, too, in comparison to other brands I've used in the past.

I have two cats - Since my oldest is 12 - I have been using Fresh Step from the beginning. They always are introducing new products. Everytime I try a new product I love them more. They are always hitting the nail when it comes to improving their brand!! Thank you for always putting us first!!
