I have tried multiple litters from different companies, from paper to clay to pine, and this one by far has the best odor-prevention out of any I have tried. Even when you are scooping the litter, it barely smells.

We have 2 cats and so I thought maybe this would work better than the original and I was surprised that NO it didn't. Now, maybe the other types of cat littler with the Febreze work better, but I'm sticking to what I know works.

As an owner of two cats in a small house, we don't have much of a way to keep the smell of litter from polluting the rest of the house. This litter definitely helps with that and makes cleanup less of a hassle.

Overall a good product. Out cat box is in a small room and when you first put Fresh Step in the litter box it has an overpowering aroma. But after the initial litter box fill it is ok.

I like the Fresh Step with Febreeze the best of all the litters I've tried over the years. Mostly Inuse the 42 lb bag as it is usually the best value.

I'm a single mom and live on the 3rd floor. I can take. Out the small packages and not be forced to carry 42lbs (or the largest most cost efficient bags) up the stairs while trying to handle my 3 year old. Thank you!

Adding scents to cat litter is for human sake. Cats do not like scents and they sometimes will urinate outside the box if it's bad enough. I wish there were more unscented varieties.
