[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many litters in the past but I must say that Fresh Step had the least amount of dust, which is very important. Also, this litter controlled the ammonia smell from my 2 cats better than my previous brand.

I used a competitors brand of multi-cat clumping litter. Instead of masking the odor, it amplified it. My entire house smelled like a million cats defecated in it. Thanks to Fresh Step, litter box odors are clumped and placed in the receptacle (in my automatic litter box). My cats are happier, I am happier and most importantly my neighbors will not call the authorities on me, because they think a million cats live in my house, when I only have two.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a coupon from Pinchme for Fresh Step cat litter. I have 2 cats at the moment but have had up to six. This litter was great. The litter controlled the smell so the cats were in the box shorter time and the odor wasn't there as with other litters.

Fresh Step has always done a good job with odor control. It is the only brand I have ever purchased. We have had 2 cats in our home most of the time for the last 14 years now. Their new Febreeze scented litter is even better than the regular scented product. I will continue to purchase this product and would recommend it to other cat owners as well.

No joke, if one cat doesn't like the litter he/she will poop outside the litter box. So not only do my cats ALL like this litter but the litter contains the smell for 4-5 days. In conclusion, our prayers have been answered. :)

I tried this litter with my 8 cats. Being a clay litter, it is very heavy but the packaging makes it easy to handle. The cats started using it right away and it clumped well and had average odor control. However, it did not seem very cost effective to me for 8 cats based on the quality, thus I stopped using it. For a home with a smaller amount of cats it may work well.

My cats like it ( I have tried some brands they have refused to use -awkward) always a plus if the cats will use it. It has a light, pleasant fragrance that helps control odors. Makes good firm clumps to make cleaning easier. As I said, I've tried many different litters and this is the best so far. It tracks a little, but hey, I have cats, I sweep - alot :)

I always used Fresh step and I was pretty excited to see they added Febreeze, until I actually used it. The smell it too strong. It makes almost my entire house smell like litter and even the cats smell like the mixture of urine and Fabreeze, even with brand new litter.. I switched to unscented and now that's getting harder to find.

We have three cats in the house. One is a very fat, lovable, older cat and she rules the roost when it comes to the litter box. Fresh Step Multi-Cat is just great at dispersing unpleasant odors. It absorbs completely and clumps nicely making it easy to scoop the box. When I go to empty and wash up the boxes before I change the litter it is a much easier task using the Fresh Step. Thank you for such a great product.

We did a litter test with our 3 cats. We tried a different litter each month to find the best for odor control, mess and “durability”. We tried crystals, news paper pellets, pine pellets and Fresh Step Multi-cats. Hands down this litter is the best for all 3 categories! I also love the 4 small bags in the cardboard tray - no dumb pails to dispose of - and it’s easy to carry.
