With 5 cats I need a litter that REALLY works..I have tried everything out there, inexpensive, newfangled, crystals, top of the line and THIS is by far the best out there. I have 5 cats and no stink. I like the way this picks up and the smell is nice. Truly does cover the smell completely and I don't worry about people commenting that it smells like a kennel. The price is just fine because the scent stays nice and I am not constantly having to start my boxes over and over to try and keep up with the odor.

I absolutely love this cat litter for my kittens. I previously purchased another litter which was very clumpy and got stuck in between my kittens paws and parts of the body. This litter not only smells amazing, the kittens love it even more than the previous one. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Clumps well and is easy to scoop plus the Febreeze scent is nice but not overpowering. Again, for multiple cats, this litter controls odors best if cleaned 2+ times per day.

This is the first time we have used this new litter and it is the worst, first time one of our two cats pooped in it the whole room smelled like it even though the cat covered it, we have never had this problem before, we have been using freshstep for 10 + years, just got the Hawaiian type and if it doesnt do better I guess it will be time to look for a different litter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 cats and one of them has a "sensitive" digestive tract (i.e. he's been known to clear out the house after he uses the litter box). I've used fresh step for years and was a little leery about the febreze addition because I like my litter to smell clean not fragranced. It does not smell fragranced and my house does not smell like cat litter. I have a box on each floor and so ample opportunity for lots of smell. The lack of smell allows me to have a litter box right outside of my living room, and its the box they use the most.

I bought the 38 pound box which has 4 boxes inside. The boxes have two layers of cardboard which litter falls between the layers and makes a mess when you tip the box back up after using and litter also gets onto the floor. The Febreeze scent does doesn't last more than an hour after putting into the litter box. It did not even mask the scent of when my cat when poop and thought the Febreze scent would have come up when the cat is digging in the litter box. Disappointed and will go back to the original scented scoop able litter in a pail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Fresh Step for years. I tried going to a cheaper brand name litter but did not standup to Fresh Step.... The smell of urine was awful. I have never bought anything since. I have used your brand now for about 30 Years

The Febreze really helps with odor control and you really can't tell there is a litter box in the house when you walk in. Good clumping makes for easy cleaning. I asked the cats if they like it as much as I do, but they just stared at me like I was crazy.
