Fresh Step is one of the better brands out there. The Febreze is a great touch and the scent lasts a long time. However, also remember, that means your cat will smell like Febreze and litter. Though this has lower dust, it still permeates the entire house and settles over furniture, appliances, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Fresh Step cat litter to try at our house. Granted we do have 10 cats in the house. Since we take in strays to have them slay and neutered. This cat litter worked as far as keeping the smell down for about 3-4 days. Most cat litter I’m having to change everyday. There was no dust when pouring into the cat box. The cats didn’t mind the change of litter either. They actually couldn’t wait to get into the box and use it. I would recommend this product esp if you have less cats then us.

We are currently using this product and for some reason I have noticed that the cats seem to be bringing a lot of litter out of the box on their feet and making a mess. Not sure what is causing this but I don't like the mess that it is making. I don't guess the cat odor is quite as bad with this product. I would give this product a 5 star if it clumped better and didn't leave a mess on the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Fresh Step Cat litter! I bought the multi cat with fabreeze. It smells so good and masks undesirable odors! Fresh Step is unmatched when it comes to clumping ability. It does cost a little more than other litters but it actually saves me money because I can cleanly remove the clumps! I have a litter box that has an opening on the top and have zero litter trackage.

I love Fresh step cat litter, it is by far one of the better clumping litters out there for the price. I however do not like the febreze cat litter because it doesn't absorb the smell as well as the original formula also it seems to put off more dust into the air than the original formula did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying this brand for so long, and now they came out with the Fresh Step WITH Febreeze, oh wow! It helps so so much, especially having two cats and They would easily stink up their bathroom, peehew! But now with Febreeze, it helps so much. And now with the less dusting, oh wow it helps, especially with my boyfriend's asthma, it doesn't trigger his asthma! It is a very good thing! This litter is the best litter products anyone could get! I'll still be buying it, and collect more paws points to get my cats toys they deserve!

I bought this a month ago and have used in our 2 litter boxes. It is low tracking (HOORAY) and although I like the scent it needs to be slightly less (I am asthmatic). I DO like that it is low dust when pouring into litter boxes and it is great at clumping. It controls odor from box well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest cat is extremely picky over her litter. So I have to buy a brand that's fine grained and closer to sand with little fragrance. Trouble is I have 3 cats. So odor control is hard to maintain. Fresh step works the best though I go through alit of litter. But that's only because my cat is picky

Purina's litter was not working well. I refuse to buy their food and treats and now we've dumped them completely. The litter room doesn't smell like litter anymore!! Thanks FreshStep!

We have been using this Febreze litter since it came out. Personally I do like the fact that it smells better, but I wish the loose "dust" was better - I still worry about inhaling this. We have 6 cats in residence (3 are ours, 3 are fosters) and I was afraid they might hesitate to use it with the different scent, but they use it same as always - and there was no trouble in transitioning so that's a plus. My husband is the one that really is the kitty litter caretaker. I just asked him for his comments on this litter, now that we've been using it for a few months, and he said, "new litter? I haven't noticed anything different." So there you have it... it smells better, but still needs work.
