[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this litter did clump up fairly well, I did not think that it had much of an “odor shield” as indicated by the name. I noticed the litter box smelled more like cat urine than it normally does when I use my normal litter. Also, I did not like that when I scooped the feces and clumped up urine, there was clouds of the litter/residue that puffed out which just gave me the “ick”. Overall I appreciate that it clumps but due to the other issues I don’t think I would use again.

I really enjoy the quality of this clumping litter with odor-reducing carbon and Febreeze scent. I only have one cat, but he is a senior and a big boy, and he urinates a lot. He isn't too picky, but he likes his box smelling fresh and gets upset if it isn't up to his standards. He approves of the Fresh Step product! The dust is low when pouring this litter, and one box fills the litter box and lasts 2-3 weeks if scooped regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 indoor cats that all use an automatic litterbox. Even with an automatic litter box the quality of the litter matters. Fresh Step with odor eliminating carbon works great to control odors in my multi-cat house. My litter box is set to scoop 3 min after they get out and it clumps fast and keeps my house smells fresh. It tracks a lot less than my normal litter and there's little to no dust. It lasts about 2 weeks before we do a full change out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this litter to try out. My cat Kiki loves to go to the litter box as soon as I clean it, and stinks it up. But with her new litter I don’t have to worry about it stinking back up. The odor shield this litter has is just crazy efficient. It looks like the normal litter, but is 10x better. Easy to maintain and clean up, and it’s not too heavy. Definitely recommend. (Unless your allergic to fragrance)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh step is not for those who need low dust. It absolutely created a massive cloud when pouring out to the point I had to leave the room. It also made my cats sneeze a lot because I was using it in the automatic litter box. And again high dust is an issue with the sensors. I would not be using this product again purely based on the amount of dust it creates. Was it effective, yes. Did it control odor, sure. But it didn't go well with my asthma. So for that I say nay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, well-rounded cat litter. It clumps well and keeps odors at bay with a fresh scent. One of my favorite aspects is that it’s low dust because my cat can really dig around when he’s serious about bathroom time and this formula ensures he’s not throwing a bunch of dust into the air. It worked great, I have no critiques!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fresh step odor shield cat litter is super effective in keeping the odor down in my litter box. I have two cats so it can get smelly fast but this litter has a fresh scent, it clumps tightly making it easy to scoop out and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter took care of odors like they were nothing! I have multiple cats and one is currently refusing to leave my bedroom so I finally gave up and put a litter box in my bedroom. Others get into the bedroom at night and I’ll wake up with a few kitties sleeping on me. They are all using the litter with no problems and I haven’t smelled anything after they cover their business. The clumping action is fantastic and I’m able to easily sift this litter. It also works great in my litter robot! This was slightly lighter than traditional clay litter, which is really helpful for carrying upstairs. The price is comparable to other clay litters and so I’ll definitely be looking for this when I need more litter. The only issue I had was sticking to the bottom of the pan when I would refresh the entire box. But it was easily scraped out. Overall, 9/10 would recommend to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this product in exchange for a review, and I have had a really good experience with it. My cats have used this brand of litter before, but this was our first time trying the odor eliminator with Febreeze. It did a great job masking the cat smell, and it was easy to use and scoop. My cats did not seem sensitive to the smell and had no trouble using it. Great option if you want to keep your cat-filled home smelling clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as clumping clay litters go, this one is FINE. I prefer other brands, and I find that this one doesn’t clump up pee quite as well as the one I regularly use. It had a mild scent that fortunately wasn’t too strong, and the cats didn’t seem to know the difference (or care). It’s not my first choice, but it’ll get the job done.
