I usually buy the unscented variety, but this Febreeze scented FreshStep helps the room in which the litter box resides smell fresher, rather than litter box-y.

This is the only one I will buy now. Stays fresh and clumps easily. With many cats in my house, quick cleaning of the boxes is very important. The smells are absorbed so I never have to be embarrassed by odors.

I do not have central air conditioning and my apartment gets hot in the summer. The Fresh Step works well to contain the smell of the litter box even during the summer.
