I bought the 42# bag of Fresh Step Total Control with Fabreze and I recommend it as a good way to minimize odor. We have two 15# cats and they can generate clogs and piles very quickly. This type of Fresh Step grabs the urine and captures it into clogs easily. The poop gets trapped in the litter very easily with the cat covering the lumps and it really minimizes the smell. We have gone from a daily to a two-day clean cycle with this product and it has been a big help.

I usually use fresh step multi cat but decided to give the febreeze one a try. It worked quite well. You can smell the febreeze scent a little but its not over powering. I actually gave a box to a friend of mine as well and she liked it too (she has 2 cats I only have 1).

I have been continuously buying this litter for the past year now and I really like it. It doesn't leave an awful smell. It is a bit dusty and it clumps almost too well (it gets pretty stuck to the edges). But honestly, I don't think I'll be switching any time soon :)

I bought this once before and then went back to a cheaper litter,My cats ended up realy stinking up the other litter within a day, needless to say I went back to fresh step clumping/multi cat use. never smell this brand. my cats love to scratch in it. it releases a nice smell. personally ill never go back my cats are happy and so am i. thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stuff... had 4 indoor cats (now currently only 3) and the litter box is in my bathroom. I work long days and when I cmoe home I am NOT hit with the overwhelming odor of CAT BOX even though it has been 14+ hrs since last scooped.

I only use fresh step. No one believes I have 5 cats because you do not smell a potty box when you walk in my home. In fact my mom even asked what litter I use because you don't even smell the potty box when you walk into the bathroom where I keep one of the boxes.

What more would anyone need to understand? Plus i can always get this litter anywhere at any time of the day or night...and it comes in more variations in quantity than anyone Else's litter brand. This makes for the easiest review I've ever written. And it's not just limited to my 2 boys...nope...I've had numerous cats and they all prefer this litter. Let your kitties do the picking...and you'll never go wrong.
