I bought the Fresh Step Multi Cat with Febreeze in hopes that the added Febreeze scent would help control litter odors longer. I am very pleased with this litter! Besides the usual great clumping and odor control qualities of all Fresh Step litters, this multi cat Febreeze version really controls both urine and feces odors like it says for 10 days. Each time a cat uses the litter box, it refreshes the Febreeze scent and controls any odors. I also like that there is little dust when pouring into box or when litter box is in use.

This product works better than what I started out with, but I still have a bad smell whenever something fresh is in there. I think this is less about the product and more about my cats as they seem to forget to cover up their feces so the litter probably doesn't work as best as it can. Whenever we catch it, we try to cover it up ourselves and the smell seems to disappear quickly. A good sign that it works like it should.

I recommend this particular sort of kitty litter, for it makes that area where my litter box resides smell absolutely heavenly after a long busy day researching feline attributes. Lifting the box helps my upper body strength besides. I currently have slight mess around the box, but it doesn't produce a noticeable odor and can be easily swept away to the dumpster for Monday trash collection.

I have 3 cats and 2 huge litter boxes in a very small bed bath apartment and no one who comes over can smell the litter box or realized that I even have so many cats in my home. I then bought Tidy cat and I regretted not buying Fresh Step. Now that I know the difference I will not use any other litter again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my 3 cats I am constantly cleaning the litter boxes. Since I've started using the Fresh Step with Febreze, I find I have to remind myself to clean because of the 3 cats but definitely not because of any odor. I love the fresh smell.

We adopted 2 cats and my husband said he likes Fresh Step so thats what we bought. I didn't think I was a fan of the febreze and my mom recommended another "well known" brand, boy was I WRONG! My husband will be stopping today to buy more Fresh Step! My house smells like we have 2 cats, and worst of all the urine clumps fall apart and are left in little pieces with this other stuff. I will not make the same mistake again. My mom is also switching to Fresh Step now. We clean our box 2x's a day at least and Fresh Step made it so much easier. We are currently using this product and for some reason I have noticed that the cats seem to be bringing a lot of litter out of the box on their feet and making a mess. Not sure what is causing this but I don't like the mess that it is making. I don't guess the cat odor is quite as bad with this product. I would give this product a 5 star if it clumped better and didn't leave a mess on the floor.

The Fresh Step Extreme cat litter with Febreze works very well for us. We use only Fresh Step litter and have tried all of them including our favorite, Triple Action. It clumps well and keeps odor down. We clean the litter box daily with two cats in and out and really like the low dust formula of Extreme with Febreze.

If scooped every 2-3 day, the odor control is still decent. It smells nice and our cats respond well to it. Thanks Fresh Step, for having a little suitable for our cats!!
