Bane, his son Jacy, Tippy and Yodi (possibly related) are all larger end cats with some Maine coon in their ancestry... We were uaing scoop away yet within a week and a half, baking soda was needed or worse, all of the litter has to be removed! We were fortunate to have a sympathetic family member that helped us see that $4 difference that might as well be a chasm. The Fresh Step Febreze Multi-Cat is perfect for us. We buy 2x38lb. boxes and that lasts usually 6-7 weeks spread out between 3 litter boxes and adding when depleted. The biggest surprise is how fresh the unclumped litter granules stay...Without a huge dust cloud! Our Cats are happy and so are we. Thanks Fresh Step!

One of our two new kittens had problems using the litter box and this was the liter he would use. Since we started getting it there have been no more accidents outside the litter box. Plus it works great at controlling smells as long as you scoop the box every day or every other day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 11 cats now but when I had to leave state to take care of my grandma I had 8 cats in a tiny apartment all rescued in one way shape or form I had to leave for what I thought would be a month but turned into many I had to find someone to watch them and the person I found on short notice was a slob but loved animals when I came home though the house still smelled great and their boxes were scooped once a day so im told my cats were now sick the litter held life I had my house stocked I buy alot of litter at once to stay a head

I have 2 cats and foster 1 more so with a total Of 3 fur babies running around, I need the strong odor and clumping power that Freshstep with febreze offers. I went from changing my litter box daily to being able to change the box every 4 days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Fresh Step for the life of my cat. I feel the old formula was much, much better. The new product with Febreeze does not have the same odor control, causing me to replace the litter more often. Even though I have tried other brands after the change, I still can't find a better litter. I will stick with Fresh Step because it still out performs the others. I always prided myself on the fact that no one could "smell" that I have a cat. Now I am much more worried about it. Please go back to the old formula!

I love Fresh Step litter for my cats, it's the only one I'll buy. With two cats who I swear invite their buddies over to poop while I'm gone, it's the only one I've tried that keeps funky smells at bay. It's a little dusty when I pour it out, but I expect that to some degree.

My husband picked up a bag of Freshstep for a change of pace for our cats that weren't always hitting the box. Since substituting a few boxes to Freshstep, we haven't had as many issues. They like the new litter better than the original that we were using! Just wish that it didn't get tracked around the house, and was less dusty. All in all, it's a winner!!

I have now been using this for 3+ years much to my cats delight! All 5 loved it right out of the gate! It's amazing at odor control, even using only 2 litter boxes!! Now only 3 cats, still won't use anything but this. Only drawback has been lugging 42lb bags (so cost effective) from door to utility room. ❤ this product!

I have 3 indoor cats and it can get a little smelly . I used to clean their box 2-3 times a day. Now I can get by with once a day, and there is never the “cat” smell in the house. This product works great!
