I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I literally love it. I'd had horrible litter the previous month. It tracked everywhere and smelled awful in look he only 2 days. Fresh step does not track all over the floor and smelled fresh and new, even after two weeks with two cats.I recommend it highly and honestly will never use any other from now on. I've found my go to litter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this specifically for 2 guest kittens that were staying with us, and I had to put the litter pan in my office to keep the kittens separate from my cats over night. I worked at my computer next to this pan for several days and it didn't bother me at all (of course I scooped often). The kittens seemed to like it and it was easy to clean up after they left.

If you are sensitive to scents, you might want to stick with one of the regular Fresh Step cat litters. It works just as well with clumping and odor control, but there is a noticeable scent that lingers. That might be positive for some and negative for others. Overall it worked well, but I think we will go back to our regular Fresh Step cat litter.

I recommend this particular sort of kitty litter, for it makes that area where my litter box resides smell absolutely heavenly after a long busy day researching feline attributes. Lifting the box helps my upper body strength besides. I currently have slight mess around the box, but it doesn't produce a noticeable odor and can be easily swept away to the dumpster for Monday trash collection.

My cat had a severe allergy to this. She not only loses hair on her paw/arm but also develops a rash on her belly. This was figured out AFTER having a blood-allergy test at the vet and changing her food because that alone didn't stop the hair loss or rash.

My wife's sense of smell has no competition. A Blood Hound could find the source of an offending odor more quickly then my spouse, but only because the dog can run faster. When she says, "whats that smell", I remain frozen and clueless. Our beloved little cat's litter box has been filled with Fresh Step Multi-Cat with Febrese for the past two weeks and I have not heard the words, "whats that smell". Thank you Fresh Step.

The only litter that works for the five of them is multi-cat litter. Now that our 22 year old neighbors cat is living in our garage, I use it for her also. Best product for us!

We bought this because it says for Multi-Cat homes. Yes, it did work better for our two cats. I prefer no scents added, but this isn't too strong. We buy to use daily and even when I don't get the box cleaned daily, the smell remains under control!
