We have used Fresh Step & it does cost more than the other brands. The other brands do the same job as far as absorption, but the difference with Fresh Step with Febreze is the odor control. Adding Frebeze makes a huge difference in the smell around the litter boxes (8 cats) so we pay the extra. Love the product, but the price is too high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using Freshstep for years and I think that this one (and extreme) is one of my favs, my go to litter. With our current two cats, no accidents outside the box. A little messy once its tracked outside the box, but hey, that's normal, been dealing with that for years. That's where a little hand broom and dustpan come into play.

I've been buying Fresh Step for years- absolutely best litter out there. When they added Febreze and made it a lower dust formula- I didn't think it could get any better! Now I see there are now smaller more manageable multi-packs--- JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! I'm one happy customer and will continue to use Fresh Step as long as I have cats (till the day I die! LOL!) :D

I have tried many different brands of litter as well as many different types. I have 4 cats, god help me, so a good strong odor controlled litter is important. This is the only brand that seems to null that oh so pleasant aroma that lingers around the litter box. And the price is amazing, so why buy any other? You'll thank me. Now if I could find the same solution for my 5 kids...

I've used FreshStep for years, and (politely) recommended it to a friend whose guest bathroom smelled like litterbox because she was using another brand of litter. The new Low Dust formula is a real breakthrough! My cats' litterbox is near the recirculation "intake" for my air conditioning. Not only do I see how much less dust is kicked up when I change the litter, but now I see the difference in how long the filter on the "intake" lasts without getting clogged! Thank you, Fresh Step!

I saw a previous reviewer give a low rating and say that the Febreeze litter doesn't help with odor because his cat doesn't cover up his poo's... Well no bleep. I have a 20 pound male cat that takes dumps like a Seahawks offensive lineman, and when he doesn't cover it up, of course it stinks. But when he does cover it up, or when I go in and flip a little litter over his 'crowning achievement' it works great. I personally find the Febreeze scent to be much more pleasing to my nose that the original Fresh Step flavor. I would definitely recommend this litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having multiple cats, litter tends to become super important besides cattifying my home. Fresh step is new to my home and so far it's working great. The litter does not smell like ammonia which is the most important because it helps with my allergies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have way too many cats. But I take good care of them. I acquired two this summer that people dumped. One was found starved and dehydrated. Now he is happy, neutered and plump and healthy. Fresh Step Multi-Cat helps me maintain cleanliness.

I have been buying fresh step for decades and their products have never let me down. Even with 6 cats, I only need one box for them all. (Scooped several times per day for them :)) It is the only litter that i have found that all of my cats have liked. Great scooping and doesn't smell bad... added bonus is collecting and redeeming the paw points for fun things for them! Love this litter! <3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always buy Fresh Step. Love that it always keeps the litter box fresh smelling and we don't have that annoying cat box in the house smell. And the clumping action is great! I never buy anything else.
