I have three cats and have tried many types of litters to see which would work best with more than one cat. Fresh Step (regular and with Febreeze) works best of all of them--it has a nice scent and the granules absorb a lot of waste. The mixture isn't as clay heavy as other brands, so it doesn't stick to the cat's paws or the sides of the little box.

I've been buying this litter since our family adopted 2 kittens (about 3 months ago). I love the smell, and there is hardly any dust, which I love. The only downfall is that it doesn't always "clump", which causes the litter to form a thick, paste-like substance...not exactly fun to scrape off the bottom and/or sides of the litter box!

As soon as we adopted our little Calico Kitten after going almost 3 years with no four foot to love, we immediately went and bought Fresh Step Total Control Clumping cat litter with Febreeze. The little lady adapted to it right away and we have been using it now for a year and a half. Fresh Step was our go to litter with our previous cats that passed at ages 12 and 22 years. Great Product!

I've been using Fresh Step Extreme for years, and one of my kitties is the stinkiest pooer I have ever met. Recently someone gave me some litter by another brand, and I must say that it made me realize how awesome Fresh Step is! The other brand has no where near the odor control Fresh Step has! I definitely recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the multi cat with febreze and I love the smell of this, as soon as you pour in the liter box it makes the whole area smell good and every time the cat uses the box it releases the scent all over again and it doesn't seem to track all over the floor like most liter does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only have Kit, but Fresh Step multi cat goes a long way for my money. With its odor control and clumping features, I use less than any other and most guests have no clue I have a cat. Just wish it was less dusty.

I have tried all other brands and not one of them can match Fresh Step's quality. I chose to try the multi-cat with Febreze and it was even better than the original. We are a 5-cat family that has used a LOT of litter over the years. I feel like the Fresh Step formula must have changed over time. What used to work great at controlling orders now only seems average. It used to be that Fresh Step was the ONLY litter that we would use because it seemed like the ONLY one that actually worked for multiple cats. But, these days, I feel like some others are just as good or maybe even better. Again, I think they have slowly changed the formula over the years -- for the worse. Also, I always preferred the reusable buckets. Losing them was a huge deal for us.
