I have two cats; one of which has kidney failure and as such, receives Sub Q Fluids. As a result, he uses his litter box more than ever and this had been a problem before I started using Fresh Step with Febreze. Now the litter boxes are smelling fresher.

I rescue cats and the amount of litter they go through every month is staggering. I need a high-quality product that will do what it says it will do. I've tried to save a few dollars by buying a cheaper brand and will never do it again. Fresh Step has been a very good product that gets the job done at my house, and I like the clean, fresh scent.

It covers up the litter box smells very well though. It clumps nicely too. Its seems like it will last me a while. I will be buying it again.

I've actually been using this for a while. We're not noticing any sort of 'bad' smell. Okay, I get a bit sneezy and notice a 'Frebreeze' smell when I dump a box of clean litter into the cat box. Like that's abnormal? :) But, I have asked friends for an HONEST answer if like the basement smells and how bad, mentioning that I can't fix whatI don't know is broke, and since I'm desensitized to it. Well kids, friends of my kids definitely didn't have a problem because I wanted 'honest.' A few said occasionally they'd get a whiff, but it wasn't all that unpleasant either. So I'm thinking it's pretty good. I do have three cats, one cat box. Of course some of the smell comes from canned cat food, which mine don't get. But it's all I buy now.

It doesn't track all thru the house and there is no dust from this. It last a long time, even when i forget to clean the litter box. This brand is my litter miracle!

I even ordered a popular kitty litter subscription that was guaranteed to lure my cats into the litter box. It was disastrous. However, nothing compares to Fresh Step Kitty Litter. I have found it to be the best for clumping, odor control, and cleanliness. Most importantly, it is the only kitty litter my cats will consistently use! Thank you, Fresh Step!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy the Fresh Step Multi Cat and Fresh Step Extreme interchangeably, and you can't beat them. I'll occasionally pick up a different brand at the store in a pinch and there is SUCH a difference! This is the best litter for low-tracking, odor blocking/pleasant smell and clumping. Other brands' scents almost exaggerate the "used litter" smell, and are difficult to clean as they mush rather than clump. I'll never go back!

I've tried several different brands of litter and Fresh Step has the best odor control. I have 2 indoor cats and clean the litter box twice a day, and this is the only litter that has controlled the odor. No litter box smell with Fresh Step! It's the best.
