This litter is super strong, after caring for 2 sick kittens... it works wonders!! Thankfully they are feeling a lot better but this litter definitely kept the foul odors at bay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's better that most clumping litters, I just don't like clumping litter in general, because it sticks to the bottom of the pan and to the scoop as well. This one did too. I liked the fragrance, though, it always smelled nice.

I've actually been using this for a while. We're not noticing any sort of 'bad' smell. Okay, I get a bit sneezy and notice a 'Frebreeze' smell when I dump a box of clean litter into the cat box. Like that's abnormal? :) But, I have asked friends for an HONEST answer if like the basement smells and how bad, mentioning that I can't fix whatI don't know is broke, and since I'm desensitized to it. Well kids, friends of my kids definitely didn't have a problem because I wanted 'honest.' A few said occasionally they'd get a whiff, but it wasn't all that unpleasant either. So I'm thinking it's pretty good. I do have three cats, one cat box. Of course some of the smell comes from canned cat food, which mine don't get. But it's all I buy now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been purchasing Fresh Step for my car for many years. I find the febreeze multicat scent not too overpowering. The product is long lasting and less dust than other litters. My cat seems happy with this in her box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's nothing worse than a smelly cat box, and almost nothing harder to combat when you have multiple cats, but Freshstep Multi-Cat Scented Litter does a great job of making it bearable. Clumps well, doesn't seem to track much at all and the odor control is just great! Highly recommended!

We have three cats in the house. One is a very fat, lovable, older cat and she rules the roost when it comes to the litter box. Fresh Step Multi-Cat is just great at dispersing unpleasant odors. It absorbs completely and clumps nicely making it easy to scoop the box. When I go to empty and wash up the boxes before I change the litter it is a much easier task using the Fresh Step. Thank you for such a great product.

I have 4 cats and there is no cat litter smell. I have been to houses I knew immediately they had a cat because of the smell. I had someone over and they said if they hadn't seen the cats they would never have know by the smell I had any let alone 4. They just assumed having cats equals smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have 3 cats & we have tried just about every litter on the market, we won't use anything else. This is the only litter that completely eliminates odor & leaves our home smelling fresh, most guests are surprised to learn we have cats.

I have been using Fresh Step for several years for my three cats after trying other brands and finally finding this. It clumps well and the new addition of Febreeze is a winner! I love the lower dust formula as well since it means less mess and tracking.

I bought a few of these "with Febreeze" ones when they stopped offering the 42 lb bags of unscented. Kitty litter is for kitties, not humans. Kitty litter does not need any perfumes or chemicals in it that could hurt our furry ones over the long term. Luckily I can get the extreme unscented in 42 lb bags again. I think like many other owners, I wish there was a way to cut down on the dust from Fresh Step. That being said, we have used this product for over 20 years. It clumps very well, keeps down the odor (we have 5 cats and you couldn't tell) and is a good value price wise. Any other litter on the market that is "dust free" has too many other issues (read reviews of ANY of them.). Some people would swear by anything (and it may work for some people) but we have settled for Fresh Step because we believe it is the best thing on the market for us and the kitties until they come up with a dust free version of Fresh Step!
