I've used Fresh Step for a couple years now and it is still my favorite brand (I tried about 12-15 brands prior to this). I have two cats and it does a great job of clumping and of odor control. This is my first purchase of a box of F.S. that advertised lower dust and I was very happy to find that the dust was in fact less, since that had really been my only criticism in the past. I usually buy Multi-Cat Unscented but this was what was available this time around. This particular variety works as well as my usual as far as clumping, however I personally just don't prefer the perfumed scent. It doesn't seem to deter the cats, though, which is a big plus.

I've always loved the Fresh Step products, but just recently purchased the new Fresh Step with Febreze and it is AWESOME! It smells really fresh and definitely masks the odors, and clumps really well, making the chore of cleaning the litter box a little less burdensome. Way to go, Fresh Step!!

This is the only litter I have used for many years. I have one cat who never learned to cover her waste so I have to do it for her! The odor control starts even before I notice what she has done. Clumps are solid and easy to remove. An overall great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step is the ONLY litter I will bring home for my kitties. I have tried other brands and Fresh Step is the only one that "checks all the boxes". It's the best at controlling litter box odor, makes nice firm clumps that are easy to scoop - also keeping the box as clean as possible. Has minimal tracking and my cats will use it. In the early days of my acquaintance with my "girls", I naively brought home a less than acceptable alternative, which they refused to use. They now have me well trained to only bring home the best.

No one can tell I even have a cat until they see him. This litter blocks all smell. Also, pro-tip which shouldn’t really be a pro-tip: CLEAN YOUR CATS LITTER AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, IF NOT TWICE! People complaining that it doesn’t work must leave their litter dirty for multiple days which is gross, unsanitary, and unhealthy for you and your cat.

I buy this or the extreme version every time. When the store is out of these items I'd rather go look at another store or wait a few days and check back then try another brand because I can tell you I have tried them all in the past, I even tried some of the light weight versions from other beans when they first came out and they are all horrible in comparison to this. This clumps TIGHT and allows for an easy cleanup and smells wonderful for days even with my 3 cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product for my kittens that I decided to get and was so amazed with how easy it was to scoop out without the nasty odors the other litter box products had. my three baby's are adults now and when i buy cheaper brands on my low budget days I dread having to clean the litter boxes. I ALWAYS come back to this product cuz its THE BEST!!

This is the only cat litter I use. It can handle all 4 of my cats, but the biggest factor for me is the lower tracking. Sure, there's still some that gets out of the box (mainly because one of my cats is a messy digger), but I'm not finding it randomly throughout the house anymore which was pretty gross. I don't know why this is the only cat litter that has considered this factor, but it is, and for this reason, it is the only litter I buy.

However I can truly say that after buying my first box of Fresh Step litter 4 years ago that my search ended and I have been a loyal customer ever since. There are many benefits to your product I especially like that it clumps both urine and feces which makes scooping more efficient and cost effective since the remaining litter continues to smell Fresh. I also enjoy the smell of Freebreeze and the fact that my cats feet don't smell of urine when she comes to to see me after using her box.
