[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use an automated litter box so it’s important to use litter that won’t clog the trap, and of course it’s also nice to use litter that absorbs waste and odors effectively. This has been great on all counts! I’ve also noticed that the odor shield is effective and doesn’t emanate a cloying scent. It was easy to pour into the machine using the tab and it lasted longer than my previous litter brand.

I deducted a star out of 5 because there was quite a bit of dust going in the air when I was pouring it into the cat box. It does indeed do a great job at an odor shield and it clumps extremely well, which makes scooping the litterbox easier. I do think this is a good product, I just wish there wasn't so much dust when pouring. The box is a bit heavy too, so be careful when picking it up. Definitely check it out for your cat if you get a chance though. It may work extremely well for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great litter choice. It really controls odors and clumps nice and firmly. It pours nicely and has a smooth texture. It seems to track minimally outside the litter box too. Overall a solid choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter converted me to use clumping litter. I cannot believe how easy it is to scoop out. It last much longer than regular litter. There is a fresh scent too that keeps the house smelling better and controlling odors. The packaging is easy to use and carry. I bought 3 more boxes of this stuff. My cat is also happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cat approved! I didn’t even finish putting it in her litter box, before she was already digging around in it! The smell is so nice, but not overpowering. It doesn’t make the potty she leaves behind smell like scented potty; it just gets rid of the potty smell altogether. Love the clumping, which makes clean up a breeze. It she’s still leave a trail of kitty litter whenever she exits her cat box, but that’s to be expected. Love the longevity! Definitely would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats, Squirty & Mocha, both loved using this Fresh Step Odor Shield Litter! I personally liked the fresh Frebreze scent. It wasn't too overwhelming for the cats, either. It clumped very well and was super easy to sift and remove. The scent fully covered all odors, too. I'm very impressed! When my cat Squirt likes new litter, he throws it out of his box (playing with it while he digs and covers). Needless to say, he threw the litter all over. That's his stamp of approval!

It forms strong clumps is low-dust, and easy to clean, keeping the litter box fresh, and tidy. Overall, it’s a reliable, long-lasting litter that makes daily cleanup simple, and stress-free.

This is by far not what it used to be. Can’t believe the odor. Never had this happened before. Have always used Fresh Step with great clean results. Not anymore. I thought my cat was having issues, but after reading the reviews I realize it’s the litter. Will not be using any longer. Will find a better product for my cat.
