I've been using the product with my 2 kitties for a while now. I tried several brands before settling on this one and I highly recommend it. My cats took to it immediately. There is very little mess and the odor control is wonderful and long-lasting.

So who actually enjoys cleaning a litter box? Not many people if any, so then why on earth would you make having to do it more difficult by adding so much unnecessary packaging/work on the 42 lb.product? I have three cats with multiple boxes, it is a literal nightmare now to clean the boxes. Not only is there WAY too much plastic and other packaging, but the little bags are also a joke. I have to open two bags just to fill the box, where before I could just unzip the one large bag and pour it all among the boxes in one step. Now, I have to first tear off the main packaging, pull out one of the tiny bags, pull off the resealable sticker, tear off the top of the small bag, dump it, go back, grab another tiny bag, pull off the resealable sticker, tear off the top of the small bag, pour ALMOST the whole bag but not quite (because that would be too easy) then re-seal the small bag with this crazy resealable sticker. Now, next time I'll likely have to deal with three bags instead of the two. PLEASE go back to the single 42 lb. bag with the sliding seal and handle or at least give people options. I'm sure this new package would be convenient for some people, but I would guess that most people who are buying this large quantity of litter are people like me with multiple cats and boxes, who don't want to spend any more time/effort on doing litter boxes than we have to. I know it may sound silly but I may consider going to a different brand over this change, I just refuse to accept something that makes an already unpleasant chore even worse.

I have used Fresh Step Cat Litter a long time ago but for some reason I had switched to another brand over the years. I am glad that I gave Fresh Step another chance. I really liked how it controlled the order and it didn't track a lot out of the litter box on my cats paws. It was easy to scoop. I was amazed at how well it did control the order. I have two cats and both seemed to like the litter.

She broke-out in a big rash and scratched herself raw after using it. She let us know she was not happy with the litter by doing her business in our walk-in shower. We switched back to the normal Fresh Step. It took her a while before she would step into the litter box again. She is now happy to be back using the old version with out the Febreze

FS was recommended by a shelter and we will never try anything again. Our cats do not reject the box anymore, and all products are low dust --- this was a major issue until we found FS. We really like the Multi-Cat with Febreze for our downstairs area. It doesn't have that unpleasant scent of most scented litters. Absolutely recommend this product.

My cat had a severe allergy to this. She not only loses hair on her paw/arm but also develops a rash on her belly. This was figured out AFTER having a blood-allergy test at the vet and changing her food because that alone didn't stop the hair loss or rash.

Trust me I would not use any others litter. Visitors are stunned to find out I have cats---no tell-tale odors. Have tried other products but hands down this is the best.
