I rescued a pregnant stray cat a few months ago and when her kittens are old enough to use cat litter, I purchase the non-clumping for them. As they get older I switch to this one and it works really well. Multi-cat is wonderful for our seven kittens!

I have used Fresh Step Cat Litter for years with great satisfaction so I was surprised when the new Multi-Cat Litter with Febreze did not perform as advertised. Though the clumping feature worked well it did not cover the kitty odor at all in either litter box. It also had more dust than the original formula and the litter seemed to track everywhere. Sad to say I was very disappointed. I have since switched back to the Original Fresh Step Multi-Cat litter formula.

This is our go-to product because you can't beat it for the price. Works well in a home with multiple cats and owners who maybe don't clean the box quite as often as they should. Only complaint....still very dusty, even though the product is advertised as "low dust formula".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got my first cat I tried Arm and Hammer but my house would smell like the litter box so I tried Fresh step and I haven't used any other brand since. Having 3 cats it's important to me that my house doesn't smell like I have 3 cats and Fresh Steps multi cat does that. I have been using it for almost 7 years and won't use any other brand.

I had used the lightweight extreme but the store was all out so I thought I would try the multi cat with febreeze. It wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. It controls odors, I have 8 cats. Smells very good and was a great bargain for 2-19 lb boxes which rocks since I have litter boxes upstairs and downstairs. This way I don't have to keep carrying the box up and down the stairs. Love Fresh Step and will not use anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this is by far my favorite litter. It eliminates odors very well and my cats love it. I scoop everyday but if I forget a day there is still no odor. I like that it is not overly dusty.

I buy nothing but fresh step, usually multi-cats or with fabreeze, for my 4 indoor cats, because III find it far & away superior to Tidy Cats in odor fighting ability. Besides, if my cats could talk, I think, they would tell you they like it better, too.

I have 3 cats and they share one litter box. I have tried many different cat litters trying to find one that will keep the cat box the freshest the longest and Fresh Step is the best one. I clean out the litter once a day but even still, with 3 cats, it can get pretty smelly if the litter is not top notch. Fresh Step works great at keeping odors away.

We have two cats, and this litter is the easiest to manage and keep the boxes fressh between cleaning. Never any lingering odor, and the house smells fresh. Loyal and long time user, as it works. Clumps strongly and easy to clean up with no mess on carpets.

There are many daily items that one can skimp on from time to time but cat litter is never in that list. This product proves the age old adage "you get what you pay for." Everything from eliminating any odor to ease of daily litter box duty (duty haha). We do occasionally use or try a different type that we haven't used yet but it's always in the fresh step family.
