Well, it was a 10 out of 10 for us! I really love this litter, I have found that it smells better than the brand I had been using! It’s very easy clean up, clumps nicely and is not dusty! The packaging is nice and I like that it is recyclable.

It has odor-eliminating carbon plus Febreze freshness, which makes a big difference in keeping things smelling clean. It clumps and is very easy to scoop and clean. The dust is hardly there when dumping or scooping. Our household loves the odor shield having multiple cats.

The litter absorbs moisture very well. It also is great at cutting down odor, which I love and appreciate, lol. I feel like I'm using a little less, meaning I'm not needing to change out the cat litter as much because the durability of it.

The scoop ability is great and it clumps well which is something that I look for in a cat litter. The scent is not too overpowering as my cats will not like it if full of perfumy smells. It works well for my cats. It is heavy so not lightweight. I prefer this litter to other brands as it appeared to keep odors away when using.

I usually only use fragrance free cat liter so I was hesitant using this litter. My cats did use it, I'm not sure if it did much with odor, but my cats haven't had a weird reaction to it using it for over a week now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Fresh Step Clumping Litter With Odor Shield, and odor eliminating carbon in our home with two cats. Overall, it performed about how to expect from a standard clumping litter, but a few few things I liked, and a few things that stood out to me. The clumping itself worked well and was easy to scoop, forming solid clump similar to most other clumping letters I’ve used. It didn’t fall apart while skipping and kept the litter box. Relatively easy to maintain day today. The scent was pleasant at first and helped freshen the litter box for the first couple of days after a full change. However, I didn’t notice that the order control scent didn’t seem to last as long as I expected, especially in a home with two cats. After a few days, it smelled more like regular litter rather than having that fresh scent. One downside for me was the amount of dust when pouring the litter into the boxes. It created quite a bit of dust, and it actually made me sneeze for a while afterward. That’s something I personally noticed right away with litters, so it was a bit of a drawback for me. Overall, this litter performs like a typical clumping litter and does the job of performing scoopable, clumps and keeping the box manageable. While the dust and shorter lift sent were minor downsides for me, it still worked fine for every day use with our two cats.

The litter has a clean appearance and fine texture that’s easy on their paws. The clumping is strong and tight, which makes scooping easy and messy free. The odor control is amazing and it keeps the smell contained for days without being overpowering. The scent stays fresh, but also subtle. The durability is great and it holds up between litter changes. Love it!

I deducted a star out of 5 because there was quite a bit of dust going in the air when I was pouring it into the cat box. It does indeed do a great job at an odor shield and it clumps extremely well, which makes scooping the litterbox easier. I do think this is a good product, I just wish there wasn't so much dust when pouring. The box is a bit heavy too, so be careful when picking it up. Definitely check it out for your cat if you get a chance though. It may work extremely well for you.
