We assembled this swingset over the Thanksgiving weekend. It took 3 guys 2 1/2 days. With three of us, two could be working on the "main tower while one was working on subassemblies--the ladder, the climbing wall, the monkey bars and the swingset. The thing went together pretty much as the instructions said. We made a few minor changes. 1) I assembled the table top on the ground, and 2) I assembled the rafters and gable vents on the ground. That made them much easier to put in place. We ran out of some of the hardware. We had to send someone to the store for 2 or 3 types of bolts, flat washers and wood screws. I could have called the company, but I wanted to finish. When installing the porch roof, we decided to build it in place rather than build it on the ground and install it. That is fine, but you need a right angle adapter to drive the roof board screws in as they are right up under the main roof. Be very careful driving screws--If you have a drill with a clutch, use it. It is very easy to countersink the screws and split the wood. We soaped all the screws, and that helped reduce splits, but we still have a few pieces split. We used 3 drills. One with a 3/8" bit, one with a screw driver, and one with a quick change for a 3/16" bit (for pilot holes) and a 1/2" socket. this was for driving the lag screws. It is up and looks very good, I did not get a chance to water seal the pieces on the ground, but I will seal the entire structure.

We absolutely love this playground. I had looked around and this was the best one for the price. It did take my husband and our neighbor about the 20 hours it said it would to build it and we were missing one piece but it was easily ordered. We would definitely buy this again!

We ordered this swing set for our three children, ages 6,3,and 1. I researched swing sets for months; I wanted to make sure we got the best deal for our money. This one was the biggest and sturdiest one for the money, and the free shipping was great. We waited for a weekend to start this project, and promised our kids it would be finished before Monday. We did work from sun up to past sun down, but the two of us were able to complete construction in 2 days. I was not hard at all, everything was marked but some of the stamps had smeared, but we just compared those boards to other and the book and had no problem finding where they go. They only complaint is that we were missing about 10 boards (but nothing that delayed us putting it together), but costumer service was a no questions asked, several apologies, and shipping them right away. This is a great quality, I have several friends that have bought more expensive, smaller ones from a toy store and they are jealous of the size, quality, and value of this one. Read the instruction, be prepared to spend about 24hours to put together correctly, and if you second guess where you are putting something check the instructions again, every time we did, we had something wrong. I am very, very happy with this swing set.
