Awesome play set with even better directions!

I read all the previous reviews before I purchased this product and everyone was spot on. It does take a LONG time to assemble but the directions are amazing and very easy to follow. It is even better once you get a little way into the project as it definitely gets easier and quicker to finish steps. I would definitely suggest to sort out and inventory all the contents of the boxes before starting. It is very helpful to have one person gather wood and sort the hardware while another person supervisors and one or two people actually do the work. This will consolidate the amount of days you must work in order to complete the playset.

kids love it

my kids couldn't wait to play. we found a couple misprints in instruction guide but overall was easy to figure out. works out great to have all parts sorted by number and nuts/bolts/washers sorted by type and size, then have someone find needed parts for next step when you are working. it took 4 adults about 16 hrs to assemble. we put a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet cut to fit sandbox area before adding sand to prevent bugs and weeds. PERFECT!

Well Organized

We purchased this Play set about a month ago. Delivery and packaging were great. Nothing was damaged in shipping. Laid out all the parts like the other reviews suggest and that definitely helps. We are only about halfway through with putting it together but so far so good. Will update when it is finished.

good quality and met expectations but some issues

This swingset turned out really great. Instructions were a little unclear at times and the bolts had a residue on them so they had a hard time grabbing to the drill when screwing them in. Also, the slide is a bit floppy but everything else was great. Kids love it.

Best play set I've seen!

This is such an awesome play set! It takes a while to put together, but it's so worth it. The wood is great quality and if you're missing any parts or a piece is damaged (which you should look for before you start), they will send new ones right away. It took my husband 5 days to build by himself, but most of those days were after work, so they were not full days. If you have friends working with you it would take 2 full days, and that's after you have sorted all the wood and made sure you have everything. My kids love this play set and will for many years to come. A 12 yr. old would love this play set!

Kids Love it

The kids love to play with all the features, but it is also time consuming to assemble. Just plan on having plenty of time , and one other person. 1 person to read the manual , and 1 to go grab the parts and then assemble. very happy with it .. no parts missing and it all fit the way it was supposed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months ago. Great features. Definitely takes a few days to put it together and you have to pay attention to the direction of the boards. We put a sealant on it after we put it together but would imagine it being easier to deal before putting together

Kids love it!

We've had the playset for almost a year and our kids love it. Install took a while but with the app and clear instructions it was very straightforward. I put on a wood sealer and protector over the winter and the set held up well. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Love this Playset!

We have had the Skyfort II for a year now and it has been a blast for the kids. My 10 and 3 year old play on it everyday and it has held up wonderfully, very sturdy and still looks great. The instructions were very detailed for assembly as well. It was well worth the time we put in building it. Whenever their friends come over that is the first thing they go to. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My Girls LOVE it!

I bought this set solely based on the reviews... the price was a plus. We started this project over the holiday weekend, hoping to be done by Tuesday to go back to work....not. It took two additional days to complete it. Day one was spent doing inventory and checking to make sure we had everything. All the wood was there but several pieces were cracked or warped and we had three bags of screws missing. Costomer service was very responsive and sent what we needed, no questioned asked. We took the advice from another review and laid out all the pieces alphabetically and labeled all the screws in individual containers for easy access. That made the process much faster. My 8 year old was the runner and as we went page by page she would gather all the pieces and screws we needed and sat them aside for the next step. It's was really important to read ahead just so that you knew how to prepare. Several of the steps could be extracted and done out of order. I wouldn't suggest that for the majority of the building. I read ahead and did things like the rock wall and ladder and put on the slates while my husband moved on the next step and did the heavy lifting. It was a good idea to copy the pages from the book if more than one person was helping so that they would know the steps and parts they needed. The directions were a little confusing at times, causing delays as we tried to figure out what it really meant for us to do. If using a cordless drill have an extra battery or a corded drill as back up. We also had to have a few pieces cut because they were too long. There was not much getting around having the recommended items. I think we used everything the book said we would need. We didn't have a 10' ladder but we did the best we could with a 8'. You really only need the 10' for the left side of the roof. The right side can be put on via the crows nest, which was able to hold my 200pd husband. We used a step stool inside the clubhouse for some of the roof stuff as well. All in all, an awesome swing set. We added some screen material to the windows to give it that real house feeling and a few extra accessories to give the girls more to do. We've had to chase them off it everyday.
