We bought this for our son's 4th birthday and he has loved it! Friends and cousins come over and play on it all the time. It is perfect for our 15 month old daughter (we added a baby swing) and all the way up to my 10 year old nephew. The installation crew also was amazing. It would've taken us months to install and it took them a day!

Ours girls are 7 and 9 and are rowdy, so we were looking for a play set that could last them a few years and withstand how hard they play. They LOVE the monkey bars (in my opinion it's the best feature of this playhouse because kids love them so much). This set has so many different things to offer and my husband was a huge fan of the interactive set up instructions (instead of the normal paper with very little description). Shipping was great and the price was very comparable to a lot of other "lesser" rated models from other places. Will be repeat customers for other products from Backyard Discoveries!

I was told so many bad stories about the play sets and having to put them together so i was putting off starting on this till i had an army ready to help. Once we started i then relized i could have saved a lot of money on Pizza. lol with just having myself and one other to help. This system was very easy to read and install. It was a good feeling seeing my son see it for the first time.

I really like this play set, and it has everything my girls will use and like. The only little problem we had were some of the screws weren't punched out (not a hexigan, a circle) So we had to go and purchace a few screws to finish building it. Annoying at the time of building, but after it was built, we were in love!!

It did take a while to put it together and it was frustrating looking through all the boards to find them all since they are not banded together according to board # they are all just in random boxes. That part takes a while. But now it is all finished and my 3 year old son loves it. So that is all that matters. Fast shipping and all the parts where in 4 boxes.

I did lots of research to find a play set that had all of the features I wanted for my grandsons. This one fit all of my requirements! Fortunately my son-in-law is very handy. He had some assistance from friends with the initial structure then completed by himself. Instructions were detailed and accurate. We LOVE it!

The best advice I found and would pass on to anyone building this playset would be to open each box, inventory the pieces using the step by step assembly instructions and placing the items for each step into seperate piles as you go. This last part will save you an unbelievable amount of time. We assembled the set in approx. 17 hours with 2 people one day and 3 the next. There will be boards missing but as others have mentioned the Customer Service is the best I've ever contacted and the ones I spoke with had assembled these sets and knew exactly what I needed, no questions asked.

There were a few pieces that were cut that did not fit exactly right and had to be modified to work (first example that comes to mind is the 'end brace' for the crows nest that is suppose to fit perfectly over the swings. The cutout was over an inch and a half off. Overall though, the set looks awesome. Be prepared to spend 20-30 hours building this monster. Amazing set for the price.

We've searched for months for the perfect swingset for this Christmas. It was just completed today & I had to get on here to say the picture does not do this thing justice! I really wish they'd show a full 360 view b/c we were pleasantly surprised by the 2 sides w/bay windows. My husband & brother who are 6' tall stood up in the clubhouse w/ample room to maneuver. My husband and I comfortably walked around in it while putting together (& we're not small people) and got to saw how sturdy this thing is. Now we just put a tarp over it for the kids not to see until Christmas so I can't give a review as to how it holds out through the yrs (Lord knows I'd def forget to write over time). The wood is treated but the company did recommend you put a water sealant when you get it & YEARLY to make it last. If you don't take care of it, it will waste away much quicker. Also, be sure to take inventory of the pcs beforehand. This took us 2 1/2 hrs (w/8 pages of parts) but we knew they can overnight us anything that was missing. They had everything in our package plus more. Our telescope was cracked but the company did send a new one right away & we didn't have to send the old one or anything. With 2 men, it took about 20 hrs (3 days for us). Now we just have to try to wait for Christmas morning to see their faces!

After an extensive review of swing sets the backyard sky fort 2 seemed to have the best reviews and best fit for our daughter and also reasonably priced. We are very pleased with it and our 2 1/2 yo daughter loves her new swingset. We had a company put it together for us and they had it done in 1 day. Everything seems solid enough... after a couple of weeks we’ve noticed a few of the boards warping, some cracked or starting “peeling". We were never made aware that you have to apply a sealant on it. Had we known this it could’ve been avoided. We did contact backyard and they shipped out replacements boards. Other than this, we would recommend this swingset. It has a great variety of stuff to play on!
