Directions say 20 hours estimated time to put together. We did it in about 15 with 3 people. Definitely need previous skill, especially using multiple power tools. It was annoying that you had to pre drill some holes, but all in all it was pretty self-explanatory. Looks great, kids love it. Be prepared for a hard day lol

Swing set is all set up. For the most part very straight forward. Took myself and and brother in-law just shy of 20 hrs to complete. We are both mechanically inclined so in experience was not the issue. For most part instructions are easy enough to follow. Only found a few spots that wasn't clear on what hardware to use and one spot that listed the wrong bolt. You do have to pay very close attention to the orientation of the pieces and pilot holes. We found a few times that we had to unfasten to change orientation. The most frustrating issues I found was with the hardware. Specifically with the bolts and nut barrels. They are coated with something to keep them from oxidizing, this caused many of the pieces not to fit properly, even with impact we could not get them to thread as the excess material was causing it to bind. I spent a fair amount of time with a tap and die re-threading bolts and nut barrels after that it was fine. The slide was a pain to get together, you will most def need a another set of hands if not two. We had almost all the hardware, however except for the board that fastens to slide, package only had one of the 3 required nut barrels, I had to order those through backyard discovery as well as two bolts from another location that were damaged because they wouldn't thread. As far as quality of wood. It isn't terrible. Only one damaged piece more so from probably shipping company. It would probably be a benefit to use some Thompson water seal in the fall. Even treated I noticed the wood absorbing water during a rain storm. My only complaint is I would of like to have seen 4x4 beams on the supports for the swings and monkey bars. Kids have seemed to enjoy thus far. 2 weeks in and its holding up fine. I think with proper care, weatherization, it should last.

This play set is an excellent value for the price. My kids love playing on it, as well as all of the other neighborhood kids! It did not take long to receive the play set. My one MAJOR complaint about this purchase - I paid the extra amount to have it installed. That was a nightmare! The manufacturer of the play set uses a contract company to build it. I got an appointment time for a Monday between 8 am-12 pm. The installers didn't call me until Monday afternoon at 3:00 pm to tell me they would be at my house at 5:00 pm! They worked on it until 8:30 pm. They told me they would be back the next day (Tuesday) to finish it in the afternoon. They didn't arrive until 7:30 pm on Tuesday night and their supervisor called to tell me they would finish that night. He insisted that they were professionals and could complete it in the dark! I told him that I didn't want them working in the dark because this was something my kids would be playing on and I didn't want any mistakes made. So they worked on it until 8:30 pm. During this time, I called the corporate office of the manufacturer to complain and they said that the installers would be back the next day (Wednesday) around 3:00 to finish it. I got a call at 8:30 am the next morning from the installers saying that "their scheduled cleared up" and they would be here to finish the play set that morning. They worked on it all day again until 8:30 pm and pretty much completed it. There was an issue with ladder because one of the boards wasn't included in the box. The installers told me they had informed their supervisor about the missing board and that the supervisor would call the order in to have the missing board shipped to me. Then they would be back to install it. About a week passed by and I still had not heard from the manufacturer about the replacement board, so I called. They had my play set listed as being completed and had no idea about the missing board. They even looked at the pictures that were taken of the play set by the installers and could clearly see that the ladder was missing and the play set was not completed. They quickly sent the replacement board and fixtures and had someone different come out to repair it (per my request). And now the play set is complete and my kids are happy. Bottom line - do not pay the extra amount to Sam's Club to have it installed. Find your own company/person/handy man to do it.

Very nice once it's assembled but extremely difficult to put together . Every piece has to be screwed together . I would have never made this purchase had I known this . I payed more to have someone put it together than the actual cost of the swing set. Also needs to be sealed to protect from the environment .

Pros: 1. Fun mid-range swing for the price 2. The children enjoy it 3. Fast delivery and easy scheduling Cons: 1. The boards with the lookout tower should be one slab and not planks because sand/ particles fall on the kids underneath who are swinging. 2. The swings are a bit low so need adjusting 3. The monkey bars could have an extra bar to provide the needed length for smaller children to reach 4. The people who put together the swing set missed screws, studs, and altogether some need to be screwed again. Some screws were even screwed too much which has caused the wood to break and create splinters and broken pieces. We've had to make several adjustments in only 1 week. 5. The wood has huge splinters! Advise children to wear shoes at all times.

Took 3-4 people 2 days to build. It was a LOT of work but daughter loves it (only 2 days in, so don't know about longevity). It needs some pull bars on the crows nest and some of the boards are thin (adults should avoid getting in the crows nest), but it has pretty much everything you could think of.

4 boxes when delivered plus the slide. Everything is labeled, locating parts takes time while assembling. We were missing a few screws but extras of other screws and bolts. One piece of wood was cracked M32. Online instructions and paperbook instructions were different order of assemble. The piece of wood that goes under the lookout platform as it attaches to the swing bar no directions to use it. Found it by looking up were that part went. 2 drills make the project go faster so you don't have to constantly change bits.

Great structure and the kids love it! Solid piece when all put together.

I purchased this and it is a great set but little difficult with the instructions to assemble, took two men 4 days to assemble.

This is a good product for our grandkids both in quality and value. No problems putting this up, only took 2 days with help from family members.
