Awesome swing set. Took time to put together. We sorted all the wood alphabetically and numerically. Then had someone sorting and gather bolts and nuts for each step and the wood needed. While 2 other people put it together. It took 12 hours with 4 people. But so worth it to see the looks on the kids faces. They love it. Ages 8 and 5.

We bought the SkyFort II about a month ago, and our kids absolutely love it, rain or shine my kids are on it! We loved a few different sets from this site but ultimately chose the sky fort II because of the features it had. Our kids ages are 9m, 2y, 6y, 9y and 11y and there is something for all of them with this model. Shipment was fast and delivered right in our driveway, it came in 4 separate boxes with all of the parts labeled and easy to find. Total installation was approximately 14 hours for my husband and I, simple and self explanatory; easy to read instructions. I would recommend this to anyone. My advice to those buying this set: keep everything from the numbered boxes together in piles as the instructions reference the boxes they come in.

We hired 2 builders to install this for us -- and they agreed that the intimidating number of pieces and hardware told the whole story: it was a beast to put together!! But it's a pretty thing, sturdy enough, with simple and lower-level fun for younger kids, high monkey bars and crow's nest for older kids -- really nice combo. Contrary to what some others have said, the monkey bars are at a great height (NOT too high), even for our 5yo (this is how they LEARN to drop safely!). We'll probably replace the wavy slide soon -- a straight slide gives a faster (and more comfortable!) run -- but it's certainly functional as is. The set needs 100% level site; no leeway in the setup. I took off one star because of two quite notable things: 1. Like so many other swingsets these days (!), the swing beam is WAY too short, putting the swings (or whatever apparatus you hang) WAY too close together; collisions guaranteed over age 5. We'll be removing the middle swing when older kids are really flying on it. 2. The wood is NOT a real cedar (Northern White cedar); it is a cypress, as is its cousin, our Western Red "cedar." It is, nonetheless, durable and naturally resistant to insects, fungus, and rot; not particularly hard -- but a good product. It is used virtually everywhere now because the tree matures VERY quickly--quick growth = quick profit, etc. All in all, it's a good set, if a little pricey. Definitely has something for everyone, all components seem trustworthy, and virtually every area is visible to a nearby adult -- and, oh, the shady picnic table underneath is excellent. --Me plus 2, 5, & 7yo grandkids.

Great playset! If you are a DIY type person you’ll enjoy putting this together. Instructions are not idiot proof, so ingenuity and know how is a must. During assembly you have to pay close attention to the pilot holes and ensure they are faced in the direction with respect to the illustrations. I jumped around in the manual, because I did half the build in my garage due to weather. The nut barrels are trash! I hated these things. The clearance tolerances of the threads are extremely tight. I had to prefit them with the bolt prior to installing them to ensure proper engagement and alignment. Other than that great product.

Still early but seems like a nice playground set. My child likes it. The assembly purchased was delayed for a few weeks. I ended up hiring a separate company to assemble the playground. It was easy enough to get a refund though, just inconvenient. From seeing it assembled, if there could be fewer little parts and various hardware sizes, it would probably make the set more attractive to buyers. All in all, happy with this product.

It was for my grandson. He was super excited & would look at it & say “whoa” every time he saw it as he came home or woke up to it looking different every time something was added. I did sand & stain every piece with a six year semi-transparent stain so that will be so much better than having to do it with all the parts on it. Also keep the packing slips, sort the wood pieces into four piles as to which box they came out of & also it would have taken more time but to put each step’s bolts & screws into a bag & label them. It would save time in the long run. Also check every number twice & look to make sure it is turned the right way with the pilot holes. I enjoyed putting it together & the instructions were good.

We bought this for our grandchildren and they love it! It does take a few days to assemble, but the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces clearly labeled. With all the hardware sorted and labeled it was no problem to find what was needed. We have already recommended this to a friend.

Pretty happy over all with this purchase. I would have given 5 stars but to me there was some excessive checking/cracking on the boards. I am happy that there were no missing pieces. Directions were good. Would recomend to other customers to layout the material just like the manual describes.

Our granddaughters are ecstatic to have this playset in their backyard! We got the installation And it was worth every penny! It took three men only four hours to put it together! My granddaughters got to play with it that very day. Couldn’t be happier!

Very nice set up. Large and lots to do on it. Directions were not very easy to follow/understand. It seems as if they want you to “assume” something... then you Put it together and a few steps later you find out it’s wrong. Wasn’t big fan on slide. It’s hard plastic on outside but actually slide is like metal based. Sort of robbly. Wood seems sterdy and they do give you levers to put down. Their were different areas of the wood where it didn’t seem cut properly and we had to fanagle it but luckily I have a good handy man! Other then that- were happy.. so far.
