- 5 out of 5 stars review7/23/2018We just received this mattress yesterday and we are pleased with our first night's sleep. We replaced a 4 year old Tempur Pedic that we hated. It was too hot and my boyfriend sunk in, could not roll over easy. We went to popular mattress store to try out similar mattresses to get an idea of the firmness of this model. The price is great as we looked on websites and went to competitor stores, it was very difficult to find a king size mattress under $1000 w/free shipping and free pick up of the old mattress. We received the bed 11 days after order. We could have received it 2 days earlier, but it was a weekday and we wouldn't be home to accept the delivery.

Afraid may be unsafe for young children or elderly to sleep on. Not sure what to do; may have to return if I can.

It is not a plush mattress, it is Hybrid mattress and all Hybrid mattresses are a little firmer when you first purchase them.. If you read the label on the side of the mattress it says 866 custom support FIRM individually wrapped coil system. Which means it has firm coils inside of the mattress with a memory foam top. It sleeps well, and it will break in after you use it over time. Excellent Mattress For The Money
medical301 - 5 out of 5 stars review1/22/2019I bought this for wife mainly. She says she has had a better sleep and getting into rim sleep (being able to dream). I have had seven back surgeries and I find it has a great FIRM support, but with the soft pillow top it is comfortable. I always had to use an egg crate mattress over our old mattress. Great value, and with 866 coil springs I am sure it will hold up for years to come. People need to research and know how they sleep before blaming the Mattress for being firm. If you sleep mainly on side you may need a mid-firm mattress or maybe a soft mattress.

My old mattress was starting to cave in the middle and this mattress has been a welcome change. The mattress is a little firm, but comfortable. The only downside is that it is pillowtop so you can't flip it over. But, then you have the comfort of a pillowtop.

Yesterday night the mattress just arrived and today my husband says he felt no pain on his back at all. For myself I love the balance between how firm and how soft of this mattress. Recommended to have one!

It provides support without being too firm. I am sleeping better and I think my back issues are slowly improving. I would recommend this mattress. I was affordable as well.

We put a 2 inch foam topper on it the second night and slept much better. I'm coming from a Leesa mattress that I liked much better, but was useless for two people as it couldn't support the weight and you'd both end up sleeping in the same depression. This mattress supports two people and isolates movement very well. I was afraid the next model up would be too plush... but think I should have bought it instead. I'll come back and see it if will let me edit the review after I have a few weeks on it.

AG - 2 out of 5 stars review8/15/2018This mattress is very comfortable, but the memory foam gets hot, transfers the heat to the gel, which in turn gets hot, and then I'm boiling in my skin. If I could find a solution for the overheating I would definitely keep it. Otherwise it's going to have to be returned. So far I've tried a mattress pad claiming it would solve the problem but didn't, and I've tried putting layers of blankets between me and the mattress. That didn't work either.

The comfort level is wonderful, exactly what we wanted. Our backs are not stiff anymore and we do not toss and turn like we did on our old mattress. Very happy with our Serta Perfect Sleeper!!

I did get the higher box spring, (9" ) and it is quite high, however with a bad back, legs, and knees I love that it is sooooo easy to get out of this bed in the morning. My weight is 340 lbs, and I am 5'5" and my husband is 5'5" weighs 160 lbs, we have no problems with this set shifting etc, we each have this set (due to my handicap needs), and he has bad hip and knees too, but both of us are very happy.

This sagged so bad on both sides you can hardly get out of bed and don't even consider trying to roll to the middle. Purchased online and had it delivered now we have to figure out how to return it. Not a happy customer. Last Serta lasted 12 years.

The bed was delivered on time and the guys who brought it had it set up within 10 minutes. I've only had it for a month, but I'm really pleased so far!

When mine arrived today it was not a rectangle. One end was 37 inches wide and the other was 35 inches wide. No quality control at the factory?
