This mattress is FIRM so if you're looking for firm, you've found it. We actually put a 2" foam topper on it to soften just a little and it's perfect. Very supportive and comfy. Lots of movie nights in bed since we bought this!

The worst mattress I have ever purchased. It was not cheap and a name brand. Most uncomfortable mattress I have ever had. It says it cannot be flipped over. It's trash.

Worst mattress I have had from Serta I brought this mattress on one of the happiest days of my life my first HOME ! a year ago. I've had Serta mattress set all of my adult life. I'm so unhappy with this Serta mattress, my children brought from Sam's Club. It only one person sleeping on it and it has broken down the sheets want even stay on it's so sad to spend all that money for garage.

I am primarily a back sleeper and my husband is primarily a side sleeper. We ordered this mattress based on the firmness rating of somewhere in the middle. It is quite FIRM. Immediately we knew this was not the bed for either of us. I called the Serta help number and the lady was wonderful. She agreed the mattress is firmer than most expect. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the firmest and 10 the softest, she ranked it a 3. The mattress appears to be of great quality and the foam topper does somewhat mold to your body, but for us it is just too hard. After the first night I asked my husband how he slept and his response was "I've slept on softer floors!" He was being funny, but it was pretty accurate. If you are looking for a firm mattress, you can't beat the price, but if you're looking for more of a medium firmness, I wouldn't suggest this particular mattress. Sam's has been amazing with the return/exchange process. I have ordered the Elmridge model and hopefully that will be the mattress for us.

Recently had a number of surgeries and need an adjustable bed. I had looked around at other models and brands but I fell in love with the pillow top on this mattress. I had not found another that would allow for the adjustable base and the pillow top. Like sleeping on a cloud and very helpful with my post surgical recovery.

Only had mattress set a few days. Very firm. Quality of product seems good.
