Jiffy corn muffin mix is easy to bake. We use a glass baking dish for extra think square pieces. Also, like adding green mild chile peppers, canned and drained to add more flavor.

I dont buy this anywhere else!

It’s a simple basic that can be dressed up as you desire—my grandmother always used creamed and regular corn, green chile, sour cream and cheese for a delicious casserole around the holidays. (And to the person who said this isn’t a better deal than the small boxes — looking at the local Walmart’s price per oz, it is 8.5 cents. This box works out to 7 cents per oz. So, it may not be a crazy savings but it’s something!)

I have ways bought the single box mix of this product. The price jumped drastically. So I bought Sams large box of Jiffy Mix and have made 4 batches of cornbread so far and have at least 2 to 3 batches left to be made from the box.

I placed an online order recently, and had to wait for certain items to be shipped to me, which I am perfectly fine with. What blows my mind, is that I received part of my order today, which were two 2 pound boxes of jiffy muffin mix, two 6 pk cans of corn, and one 6 lb can of nacho cheese. Unfortunatley for me, someone thought it to be a good idea to place all of these items within the same box, and now I have corn muffin mix all over the box & other items. Both boxes were completely crushed! I don't get why anyone would think it ok to put such heavy items in the same box as fragile items. I spoke to a representitive, and was told I'd get replacements, but still...the people responsible for packing itmes to be shipped, need to to better.

This is exactly the same mix as the small blue boxes, but is not an even multiple of the 8.5oz recipe. It does have clear directions for measuring out the mix and baking (even the entire box at once), but it makes little sense to have 40oz versus 34oz or 42.5oz. This is obviously a manufacturer-directed complaint, not for Sam's Club.

People who say this 40oz Jiffy mix is a good value would not pass elementary school math. The most I have seen the regular size 8.5oz boxes go for is $0.55 each. Current price for 40oz is $3.12 as of 1/23. It might seem more convenient to have one large box. The facts are that the trade off is that you need to measure it out, and also it’s a fact that it’s not a better value in the larger size.
