1- It's made of cow milk, while authentic Feta made of milk of goat or sheep. 2- Sam's used to have a block Feta cheese, which they do not have anymore. These one uses preservative to keep the mold out, so it is not healthy. 3- Why Sam's cancels the healthy choices and just keep the trashy ones!

We do enjoy the cheese and I like the little container with the perky green lid. Is there a way to remove your label from the container when the cheese is gone? I'd love to keep it for snacks and small amounts of food...but it would be much nicer if it had the labels off. Great opportunity for recycling here!

Its the closest thing to actual greek feta from my Greek homeland. Tastes fresh and is always creamy. I use this instead of Parmesan cheese. Goes with anything. Experiment as this feta can be used on fresh salads or even crumbled on cold watermelon. Delicious. Love it. #athenos is the only brand I buy each and every time

My favorite types of feta differ depending on what I'm using them for. I like Valbreso (creamy French sheep's milk feta in brine) for salads and other fresh applications as well as on a cheese plate. It has a fresher, less briney, milky taste. I like Bulgarian for its pungent, sharp, salty flavor. I love it in omelettes or other egg dishes. Athenos feta is much cheaper and much more easily accessible than either the of the aforementioned cheeses and I think it has a nice versatility because it's salty and doesn't have a gamey taste the way Bulgarian feta does. It's less creamy than I'd like, but for the price point it's nice on salads, in omelettes, and other savory applications.

Picked this up when in a rush and needed feta for a sweet potato burritos recipe, and was surprised by the quality! Not too crumbly, moist, or overly dry, this cheese was perfect in the recipe, and then in an omlette and a Greek salad the next day. Great value buy! I no longer buy any other brand of feta.

My go to feta! Being Greek I'm definitely picky about my feta. This is one of my favorite brands. Feta is meant to be salty so for those of you on salt restricted lifestyle due to hypertension or underlying diseases, please be conscious of your sodium intake! Otherwise this is my fave ♥️

Athenos is yet another brand the I buy only when I'm buying feta. I have purchased this product more times than I would count,. No recommendations for this product. The flavor is a salty, creamy...it's perfect over salads with maybe craisins so the sweet and the pungent blend well together.

Nice and convenient packaging. Tasty feta cheese. Not too high in calories and a little goes a long way. Great for topping salads and fruit. I also enjoy crumbling/sprinkling inside grilled chicken sandwiches. Athenos traditional feta and their flavored feta cheeses are delicious!
