This sausage is perfect!! The casing has the right "snap" that you expect from a quality sausage. Pork casing is the only way to go to make a quality product. I've read where ppl say the casing is chewy or too thick. Go to Chicago and eat their homemade sausage and you get the same casing and chew because it is a well made sausage. This sausage has the perfect smoke flavor and is the best sausage I've ever ate, and I've ate a lot of sausage in the bbq tournament world. As far as grease goes, i did not have any grease with my preparation. Its all in how you cook it - low and slow. So, put down the cheap Johnsonville brand and pick this up and give it a try. You'll be eating a REAL sausage with amazing flavor and quality ingredients!!

This product was recently replaced by a Member's Mark product in my club. The Kiolbassa brand taste SOOOO MUCH better has a better quality meat and texture. I may order online from Kiolbassa just to get this brand back in my fridge. The Member's Mark was terrible and had weird nasty chewy bits in it and lacked flavor.

I so wanted to like these, but OMG I had to throw them away. First let me say they are so greasy. I had to use over 10 paper towels and drain to get all of the red nasty gunk out of 1 sausage. I regret even eating it because I have been experiencing reflux problems for 2 days and I never have reflux. Did I mention after I cooked them, I turned around and boiled them, and they were still bad. These are not worth a heart attack.
