I had purchased this beef sausage some time ago. I was watching a southern cook and she had cooked sausage with a pig casing in a skillet with a little water covered with aluminum foil and baked in oven on temperature of 375. She didn’t say how long to cook but said when it’s done it will appear like it’s been fried. I cooked 4 links on the temperature and for 2.5 hrs. I’m telling you I would’ve given 5 stars if I’ve known to cook this way in the beginning. I had returned but took out my deep freezer to cook it this way. You’ll be amazed of how your not chewing on the casing and the taste is much better. Sorry Sams for the low rating but cooking this way has changed my mind!! Great, taste and texture is much better!!

You get a lot of sausage for the price. However, we did not care for the sausage, the skin was really thick.

My husband loves these and I don’t mind eating them when he cooks them. There are A LOT of them in the package.

Not greasy meaty no fillers and sinew or gristle. Good for the grill or gumbo. They could use more garlic and red pepper

Red Beans & Rice with this Sausage was absolutely great. Made a large pot with all 2lbs of sausage and got better with time.
