Good TV

Bought this TV bout 10 months ago I do love the size and picture the only issue I have is trying to connect with AirPlay. I was only able to connect 1 or 2 times then I would get an error message. I went with this TV due to the AirPlay feature and wish it had another HDMI port and an optical for soundbar.

Not happy at all

When I bought this tv I was very disappointed with the multi function remote and it's abysmal instruction sheet. My Netflix account is set up through Roku so it would not let me sign in to Netflix ,because it did not support Roku. I really disliked that remote! It also has no audio outputs except for a USB port. I could not connect my soundbar to it. I have returned the tv to were I bought it.

Great find. Thanks Samsung human logical proramr .

1 month old. accepted my internet router easily. Nice as I am not a Tekkie. Very satisfying picture. New unique remote actually user friendly. look intimidating. Easy access to all settings. Oh, and the picture...very pleasing. sharp and comfortable!!!

instruction booket

For the most we like the tv. Don't understand how to get our local channels set up.We were told that we could hook up an antenna for our local channels. Not sure if there was an instruction booklet with it. If there was it most have gotten lost. It sure would have been helpful.

Use Smart Things on Your Phone as the Remote

Excellent picture and sound. Very poor remote. Samsung needs to improve the remote and it functionality. However, Smart Things has a remote that is very good. Forget the remote. Use you phone. Smart Things even has the ability to make it accessible. Smart things saved me from returning the TV. I read a lot of reviews about the TV before buying it. Many of them mention the remote is difficult to use. That should be enough to get Samsung to improve their remote. I am thankful that I can use my phone as the remote in Smart Things. That saved the day.

Would not recommend

I bought this a month ago and the color and sound were great. I would have rated it a 5 but within 30 days it stopped working, no picture or sound. I've had several Samsung TV's and really liked them but lately seems like there are several problems with them.

Samsung TV

I purchased this tv about 3months ago and thought I was having difficulty changing channels, looking at guide was just the “ learning curve”, but no! This has to b the most difficult tv made. When using “ guide” it races through channels , when selecting a channel manually it add numbers , have to exit and start over, etc…don’t try to switch between sports games quickly you cannot. ridiculous, several tried to use tv but have same issues, Too late to return to store- going to throw out.

Not that happy with this tv.

We've always liked Samsung products. This time, we bought a 65 inch crystal screen tv. The picture is great. However, the sound has to be turned up high (35-50, or more) to comfortably listen to. Movies are much worse. I learned that the volume limit is 100. We've had in the high 80s for movies. I'm very disappointed in this aspect.

There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. I hope this helps improve your audio experience. 55" Class Crystal UHD DU7200-No optical cable port

This television is fantastic for our needs However, there is no optical cable port which has prevented us from utilizing one remote for all the purposes we need. That was very disappointing. We are now in the process of finding a converter cable so we don’t have to buy a new HDMI soundbar.

Nice tv, but cuts out while gaming

This is a great tv, but we have one major problem with it. When my family is playing video games, the screen will randomly go black for a few seconds, then come back on. It's like it switches itself off of game mode by itself. Very frustrating, but other than that, it has been a nice tv. Wish there was a way to fix this problem.

Hi DfamOf5, If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you do not see any picture, there are three potential issues. 1) A connection issue is the most common problem where there is a bad connection, faulty cables, or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, requiring a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
