My husband and I put together this swingset in about 2 hours. We had read the instructions ahead of time, so we knew what to expect, then followed them as we assembled it. We were impressed with the stainless steel bolts, nuts, etc. and the durable parts. It's very nice to have the rubberized chain covers, especially when temperatures are below freezing. The set looks great, and has become the attraction of the neighborhood!

We really like this set. The color is nice because it blends into nature and it is very sturdy and tall so our kids at ages 11 and 13 can still use if they want to. We only rated four stars because my husband got so frustrated with the bolts that he went and bought better ones THAT WILL NOT RUST. We are very disappointed that parts started to rust after just one season...not even sure it was a full season.

We purchased this to replace a wooden set, and have been very pleased with it. Our only regret is purchasing the wooden set first and not getting one of the bigger play sets from Lifetime. The caps on the end of the top bar have popped out after some older kids were vigorously swinging, but they went back on and seem to have stayed.

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This is a great swing set. I was skeptical at first because you did not need to anchor it, but as long as it rests on level ground, it is perfect. I have an 8 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and they both love it. It looks great and is very sturdy even when the kids swing high!

I bought this 4 years ago for our kids. It has held up incredibly well in spite of the summer and winter elements. The tall design even allows be (6'1", 225+) to occasionally swing with confidence. All the neighbors come to our backyard to play on this set. Thanks lifetime!

We were looking for a swing set that would grow with our family, not to mention satisfy this mom, who still loves to swing! This is your swing set! No, it doesn't have a clubhouse or a slide, etc., but it's a SWING SET! We installed it 6 years ago in an uneven yard and we haven't had to touch it since! It is SO perfectly durable and maintenance-free. Read your directions for sure, and like any item, have patience and be willing to adapt a bit, and it will be worth it. I still swing on it, as do all four or my kids, ages 11, 13, 25 and 27!! Ha! I would love to replace the one swing....the model number for the set is 290038....any help from the admin on here would be helpful!

Put this together last night for my 5.5 year old. She was climbing to the top of the roof of our old play set so decided to get something she wouldn't climb. This is very sturdy and definitely great for older children. It took my husband and I two and a half hours to put it together in the hot Texas summer. Would have been less if the bolts went in easier, but it wasn't terrible. Definitely watch the video in the QR code. Much better than the written instructions. I would recommend only hand tightening the bolts for the brackets until you get them all in and then go back and tool tighten.

Buyer beware. Before I purchased this swing set, I was told by customer service that the item would ARRIVE within 5-10 business days. It has been 18 days since purchase date and item has not shipped nor do they have an estimated ship date. Customer service response is slow. Very disappointed to say the least.

Bought this few months back for my 9 year old and 10 year old, this is excellent quality. Easy to assemble. Could not have asked for a better swing set for the kids. The colour is great, the swapping of attachments is easy. We are now looking into adding a slide or other options as a new born is on the way!!!!

My husband and his brother put it together in about an hour (much easier than all the reviewers had indicated). We love it. Really. But it is terrifying to see our 4 yr old go sailing up so high. It seems higher than the playground swings, but maybe that's my imagination. Not sure if we can bury the legs, or take off the bottom bracket to make it shorter. We'll see. Hopeful our daughter learns to be safe and our 2yr old dd will too, eventually. Ugh. Maybe waiting another 2yrs would have been a good idea. We love the quality though.
